Lufia 2... Where to begin.  Definitely one of the best games ever made. Had it all. Good characters, killer story, awesome battles, epic villains... Lufia was epic win to the highest degree. I hear they're remaking Lufia 2 for the DS, but its different. Action RPG. Anyway, you made me very happy with this remix. Well done. Long live Lufia!

Lufia 2 is just so powerful in its emotional effect, isn't it?

The music, the battle system, the plot, the ending...it all fits together so well. It's also supposedly the last game in a long time to not have a happy ending for the protagonists, but that's another part of what makes it so emotionally powerful...

Favorite characters: Dekar, Iris, Tia. Tia is one of those characters that just invokes sympathy...she has Maxim taken away from her three different times, for crying out loud!

When I started playing rpg games this was one of the first ones (next to Chrono Trigger) That I fell absolutely in love with the soundtrack. Fits perfectly for each kind of battle and also made me wish that other games could be so epic with their music. This remix is amazing and reminds me of those golden days fighting to the end with the Sinistrals. Man I miss the game!

It was a great song, but I think the game tried to get too much out of it. By final battle you've already heard it, what, five times? But they still use it again. A separate Daos theme would have been good.

That's not used too much. I love all the music in this game but the battle music and the boss music is technically used too much by your standards. It's used to show how epic the fights with the big bosses were and I believe you heard it 6 times by the time you got to the end not including against the Giant Jelly in the Ancient Cave

Lufia I - She's someone you never expect.

Lufia II - Only expected if you beat the first one.

LufiaTLR - The plot twist is over used; no longer exciting.

LufiaRoL - Doesn't exist (who cares).

This game is a masterpiece, simply the best RPG ever. I love it, it is my favorite game of all time. The gameplay is so addicting, I could write a book about all the positive aspects of this game and how it is superior to the hyped FF-Games. It's a pity that there are only 4 Lufia games (well, 5, if you count the mobile-game) but IMO this is better than tons of lame sequels (FF comes to mind).

I remember playing the first game and thought what this had to to with the game but then after playing 2 and then going back to 1 it seems a lot of 2 was writtin before it came out and put into 1. still awesome games 3 was eh and the one for the gba was really crappy fun if you never played 1 or 2 but other than that. that one was crap.

i only played the SNES ones. The GBA version didn't receive very positive reviews, with criticisms involving its bugs and didn't change too much from the traditional formula, so I don't have the motivation to play it...
