  • you should tour the U-505, it is as small as hell can be

  • @captinkeys1 Well, this actually IS U505.

  • To my knowledge there was only a Deutsche Kriegsmarine, I ve never heard of a Nazi Navy. the americans dont call their navy "republican navy" either do they?

  • Good video, thanks!

  • this is German submarine U-505 , U-505 is a Type IXC U-boat of the Kriegsmarine that was captured on 4 June 1944 by United States Navy Task Group 22.3 (TG 22.3).

    ALL CREDIT TO WIKIPEDIA

  • United States Navy Task Group. A.K.A

Hunter Killer's. ^^ Seek out subs and blow the shit out of them!

  • What movie did he sayd?

  • "Das Boot" aka U-Boot 96, by Wolfgang Petersen.

Probably the best WW2 submarine movie ever made :)

  • Very cool vid....nice one...

  • nice video 5/5

  • A great Video Thanks! to the rest of us: Captured by ADM Dan Gallery off the Azores, had to keep it quiet for a year because of the code book and Enigma machine they hoped to captures, a great story

  • I did see Das Boot and it is pronounced Das Boat, not like the footwear even though it is spelled that way. A U Boat not boot. It is German. Any how you did say you were playing stupid and I enjoyed your video.

  • He make jokes on or in a pleace where people was sceared about theyr lives. What a motherfucker !!!!I bet hes pants where full of shit when he was down there in the deep ocean!!And above him the sound of water bombs!

  • u fuckin Kolotripida with your fuckin Skatofatsa you Pusti.

  • The battery is below the floor

  • That "thing" is a speed telegraph.

  • i went on this tour also at the science & industry museum in chicago, but they wouldnt let us bring the video camera in.. weak! its so cramped inside there but it was my fav. part of the whole museum. really beautiful & amazing sub

  • Deutsche Wert-Arbeit !!!

  • Poor knowledge for a submariner. I think that 'conning tower' was the manuvreing room, where the engine controls were located, the batteries I beleive were under the MR and the officiers quarters up front.

  • You ought to just visit the sub (Museum of Science & Industry - Chicago, IL) then comment on it. I played a little "stupid" on this video for entertainment purposes. FYI, I was a former nuke fast attack submariner and if I felt like it could give you all a dissertation. I've studied subs from back to WWI; my uncle died on the USS Harder in WWII (sunk west of Philippines).

  • I would love to visit the sub, and others, love subs, but being down here in NZ makes it just a dream.

  • Well, maybe you could tour another country's navy base someday and find a sub. I'm sure Australia probably has a few, but Freemantle is a long ways from NZ, no?! If you ever visit Hawaii (Pearl Harbor) you can also find a WWII boat to tour.

  • Thanks For the posting and tour,Dont listen to all the whinners!

  • Nazi submarine? Hmmm, interesting... a ship with opinion about politics

  • LOL

  • And this guy is a submariner himself?

Glad he aint on my sub.
