I am 178 @85Kg it was comfortable for me compared to the Innova. Leg space they are comparable but at my height, the top of my head is less an inch away from grazing the ceiling on the Inova's thrid row seat. On the Freed it was about 10 inches of space. I like the car, just a little worried about ferrying 6 - 7 of my relatives on a hilly drive with that engine
@funkybanged Depends. Both have 5-seats (although the Innova has the advantage of having 2 extra seats to make it a 7-seater). If you want more bootspace then it's the Innova, plus it's cheaper and has a 2.0 engine. Honda Freed is more of a niche product, it only has a 1.5 engine. But personally if I have 5 in my family, I'd take the Freed because I'm a Honda fan. Haha
I guess this has the same specs as the one released in Thailand right? Which model is this one? 2010? I've seen pics of them with no wheel covers and some with. This one looks like it's a higher model with alloys. Others I've seen even had chin spoilers. Is that a headphone 3.5mm jack and a USB feature with the sound system? Like the remote power sliders and the collapsible side mirrors. I think this vehicle is in competition with the likes of Nissan Cube. Thanks for posting
Nice car, thanks for sharing this. VERY quiet engine. I think though that it wouldn't be as adequate in substantial-ness and engine size for American tastes. They prefer the MUCH bigger USDM Odyssey. I really enjoy Asian market cars, though.
@1bentley4ever No prob. The size is much smaller than a CR-V, it's about the size of a Honda City. But space wise, it's pretty comfortable even in the third row.
I spent nearly a decade in the states before comming home and i can categorically say that this will be a hard sell in America, but then again i say the same thing when Kia initialy went in.
@Borneomann With the success of the Fit and Kia Soul, I think Americans might take to this, it might do better if it had a larger engine for highway use, maybe if one of their 1.8L or 2.0L would fit in it.
Do you have lotus ?

@thecarexpert18 I don't think so, the size is too small and I think the US prefer bigger MPVs, no?

@alexlovesmac REALLY!? Smaller than a CR-V? SO basically it competes with the Mercedes B-Class, right?
1bentley4ever 1 year ago
@1bentley4ever but its a lot cheaper
KPKonliner 1 year ago
@KPKonliner Oh I bet it is a LOT LOT LOT cheaper. The B-class isn't available ion the US, though. It is available in Mexico and Canada.
