i had a question, i was thinking of getting those camaro letter inserts for the back and was wondering if you painted that black strip across the back or did it come from that factory like that. I have a white 4th gen and ive seen people with the black and chrome letters on white and it looks damn sexy. if you could tell me, id like to know. thanks

@roryk9933 You mean the valence panel? This is a CME (Center Mount Exhaust) valence. It was an option on the late LS1 Camaro SS. It is supposed to be painted body color but at the time of the video it was just installed.

The muffler is part# MVR86S. The car has long tube headers, no cats, and is a traditional cat-back therefor there is no X or H Pipe. Axle back's and Cat Back's are available for the 4 gen F-body's.

@s25hanh No, there is no such thing as a header back for the 4th gens. The headers and Y-pipe typically should be a matched set. Cat-back is a term meaning a system that connects behind where catalytic converters would typically be even if they are eliminated.

@903mzkn1 All aftermarket cat-backs will net you very similar gains. (to close to compare) Its the tone the exhaust creates that you should be using to decide which one to go with.

No, this is a traditional cat-back. (single pipe over the axle to a single inlet/dual outlet muffler)

I would suggest going with the Violator axle back or as some call it, a muffler back kit. The sound will be similar but not exact.

The dual center mount tips are 2.5". I used a 3" to 2.5" reducers that connects to the catback tailpipes, then 2.5" 90 degree mandrel bent pipe connect to the CME.
