Hi in setting / navigation / Route Preference , can you explain what Faster time / shorter distance / and off road do ? because i tested it earlier with all 3 and i drive a different way as go into a freeway . It turns out the GPS is confusing. What is a good setting for freeway ?

@choyxongzong well faster time will give you the fastest route to your destination,thats mainly staying on the highway,,shorter distance will not be a fast way it will mainly take you the nearest county rd,alley,state highway to get u there the shortest way,off rd is really small rds,dirt rd thats mainly if u use the device if u was riding a bicycle or walking,hope this helps.

A friend of mine's mom has this. I tried mounting it on the dash, with the suction cup -- no luck. I then mounted it low on the front windshield. It fits like a hand on glove.

In the car, you can power the unit through the cigarette lighter.

Excellent video.

Nuvi's are excellent except for a lack of track logging. I use my Nuvi 260W for Geocaching, with hundreds of caches loaded. Just Google "Nuvi GSAK Macro", to find truly paperless Geocaching.
