My Nanday is arriving soon (so excited), but I've been trying to find out how well Nandays are at talking, cuz I know most conures are capable of speech but diff types tend to be known more for talking than others. This one seems to have multi-syllables down well. Is that common, or did it take lots of work. I've met a few blue crowns who were natural talkers, picking up new phrases after only hearing once. Any suggestions on Nanday training & tips? I'd love some expert owner advice!
I have one that I also rescued from a neglectful home. He talks in one syllable words bery loudly throughout the day, but then when the drop cloth goes over his cage he talks up a storm, sometimes in full phrases. I can't figure out why he waits until the cover is on. Any ideas?
He is so cute. I was blessed with a little nanday conure yesterday that has been very stressed and not taken care of. She only has feathers on her wings, head, and tail. Her little chest and back is all bare. I am sure she will come around in time. Yours is very beautiful.
