I remember Wojo from Indiana in the 1980s! He was a really good hook wrestler who would regularly take on challengers from the audience. Those were the days...
I saw both of these guys at the U of M wrestling camp in 1985 Wojo was an instructor and Steiner was wrestling for Michigan at that time Steiner was in charge of a group of us watched as we played a game of softball at free time his brother was a year ahead of me and went to Bay City Western high school. looks as though the steroids have really got a hold of him now
No, it's Scott Rechsteiner. That's the real last name of both Scott and Rich Steiner, "Rechsteiner", that's what the guy was calling him..by his real last name.
Hahaha... a 450 splash was VERY unheard of back in 1987. Steiner was great in these days... it's too bad that he felt he had to let a 'bigger physique' hinder his actual wrestling abilities. This was the Steiner I knew and admired as a kid.
I just barely remember Wojo. Was this wrestling based out of Detroit? I remember seeing a pro wrestler around town in Detroit and he was a TOTAL a**hole. Apparently he decided to carry his pro-wrestler attitude around everywhere he went.
scott was the first wrestler to do a 450 splash

Was called Bruiser Bedlam
wettonfan 3 years ago
Bruiser Bedlam was a Canadian wrestler originally called Johnny K-9 as a jobber in the WWF circa early 80's. Wojo was not Bruiser Bedlam.
mightysnoro 2 years ago
@mightysnoro Bruiser Bedlam was the name of the TV show this aired on.
Steelback70 1 year ago
@Steelback70 Yes, you are correct. I thought he was calling Wojo Bruiser Bedlam.
mightysnoro 1 year ago
@mightysnoro I beleive in tag matches it was usually Johnny K-9 and Barry O in the WWF!!

Its the WWA out of Indianapolis. Dick the Bruiser's promotion, though on its last legs in the 80s.
tuttlemsm 4 years ago
I don't know where this WWA is, this clip I have was taped on a Detroit TV station.
tmattrope 4 years ago
They had regionally syndicated TV in the Michigan/Indiana/Ohio region.

I believe they also aired on WGN.

Wojo was a legit badass. Remember those $10,000 fan challenges he had? He schooled those fans so good that they were actually hurt.
