99% of the videos I see about guitar gear there's some guy imitating SRV, it's pretty boring the lack of creativity shown by them. There's a lot of interesting things that can be done with such a good gear, more that the ding-a ding shuffle and the blues licks.

@GM9269 Dude give me a break. I play like that. It is just what speaks to one person and not another. At the end of the day you just got to play what feels right. Not to mention it is Freddie King we all sound like. I started my guitar life as a Metal Ozzy type guy and just ended up here. Who knows who I will sound like in ten years. The whole thing you have to understand about us wannabes is we are kind of looking to see what all people can do with the same vocabulary.

@GM9269 Makes things difficult when people use the "same licks". You have to have an ear to hear the differences. They all sound the same to you because you can't hear the difference. Not my problem.

@heyheymymy78 well man, some people judge amps by the compression and the way it buckles under a bend or sustains with a strat. This guy was testing all those boundaries that makes or breaks an amp for him. I do the same thing when testing amps.... don't play like that in the songs I write, but if the amp has good breakup and sustain and will clean up with some jazzy chording.... it's a keeper.
