  • Beautiful video, thanks for sharing!

Check out some painted flowers on rocks that look so real they attract butterflies

go to Squidoo.com and type Painting Rocks in the search box.

  • great vid.. you mentioned eucalyptus,we have a mature 18yr old 35 feet tree and we recently had it trimmed, all the lims were weeping lots of butterflies were feeding on the sap.. every year it flowers and thousands of bee's cover it the sound is absolutely amazing, when i first herd it i thought it was an a electrical faulrt near by lol.

  • Great video! Thanks for sharing!

  • you could use beer at night to attract the slugs.

  • Butterflies love my lantanas.

  • Cute video, but you made some questionable statements. Providing leafy shrubs is beneficial to shelter grown butterflies, but caterpillars need host plants. You can't assume they'll eat anything. Also, butterflies don't gather pollen from flowers, they gather nectar. That should be pretty obvious.

  • I heard that beer without preservatives will get the slugs, but I wouldn't know if it's bad for butterflies. I heard slugs go for the yeast get drunk and drown.

  • i went to a butterfly museum place once with my uncle and they had a garden area where you could walk through with all the butterflies, but for some reason all the butterflies kept landing on me ;) kept freaking me out... ;)

  • Beautiful, wow I'd love to look at those butterflies as well. I'll try to incorporate those flowers into the garden this year to attract more of the butterflies.

Great tips, thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge.
