Dude the EVGA 8800GT SuperClocked in SLI own all single gpu solutions out there by ALOT- the only card that beats it is the new ATI 4870X2. The 8800GT series is still along side the 9700Pro, one of the best video cards ever released. The EVGA SuperClocked Edition is blazing fast. Im running mine at 735 core/1850 shaders/2.2GHZ DDR3 Memory.

i only use more than necessary amounts of Ceramique when i use subzero cooling

air cooling and watercooling you only need a small amount as you say

i will do some LN2 tests with either my Asus P5E3 DELUXE or Gigabyte X48T-DQ6

i am still testing both boards and once i decide which one is fastest i'll go with that

it will most likely be the Gigabyte as this board requires no modding whatsoever and clocks my Dominators crazy good plus seems to reach higher FSB in initial testing which will be the most important consideration as that will directly determine my benchmarking speed

So why would you get that crazy motherboard and cooler (as well as a decent CPU but with a crazy overclock) and only get a 8800GT? If I was spending the money that you were on that motherboard and cooler I would have got a 9800GX2 or at the least a 9800GTX. I personally have a Q6600 which i just overclocked to 4.0GHz cooled by a Zalman 9700NT, EVGA 680i (which is actually close to the 790i) and a 8800GTS 512mb (Im going SLI though). Powered by a Thermaltake tough power 750W.
