  • Actually, in the book it was discovered that the plants that produced vegetables enjoyed watching their offspring being eaten. It gave them a feeling of ecstasy.

  • I'm gonna show this this to my vegetarian friends! >:D

  • -hey cabbage!,

    -what now...

    -knife

    -AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!

  • Thank you for uploading this, with gratitude,

    Om mani padme hung.

  • @ martyca6 idk but it caught my attention lol

  • This is crazy, why haven't there been more studies on this??

  • how would the plants in my aquarium react to the hungry betta feasting on live brine shrimp? (betta: yum!) do plants react differently from each other, thus showing personality?

  • Make you think twice about eatting fruits and vegetables. Like thinking about eatting animals.

  • It is said that the purpose of the plant kingdom is Magnetism.

An inner source of beauty, loveliness and attractive power, which lures the higher forms of life, leading the animal forms to consume it for food, and the thinking entities to draw from it inspiration, comfort and satisfaction of a mental kind. — Alice A. Bailey

There is purpose in their expression, just like humans, it's just different and far more than we've ever been taught. Ever see Farscape?

  • Booooobbies!!!! 5:12

  • @jujutsu727 Wow, you'r right what does that have to do with the video? lol

  • TITS??? at 6:17 yeah I'd do real well with that image too...!

  • I am now "one with the universe".....

  • I know I feel better being around nature and I also know that my projected thoughts when I garden helps my plants. They grow healthy and bear tones of fruit. My father has told me about the consciousness of plants and animals before. Another person told me if you put seeds in your mouth and allow the seeds to read what is wrong with your system, when you plant it the plant can better nourish you. I can't prove that it's true, but you never know.

  • People should open their minds and not disregard the idea that all living and nonliving things carry vibrations. They may not be how you see intelligence (subjective as well), but they should be respected. You all are in a system together to coexist. You may eat animals and plants as that is part of their existence. I think it egotistical to believe we are the only ones to be more special or exceptional than all the other creations.

  • Pseudoscience is the same as religiosity. You cannot just bombard your way into a scientific discussion and assert that plants possess "animal intelligence", the same way literalist Christians cannot call intelligent design "scientific". When astrology became astronomy, you would think people would let go of the myths from the past. But even today, people love to read their horoscope. When people complain because they think science is confining, it is. It confines you to the facts.

  • shit i commit mas genocide everytime i walk on grass!

  • @tallyhoman911

Grass doesn't die from being walked on. Check out all those major league baseball stadiums that have converted back to natural grass.

  • We wouldn't be where we are as a scientific community, as a civilization, as an intelligent species, if controversial and radical hypotheses were not explored and pursued. In fact, one may argue that if something is rejected by the masses, it's almost a guarantee that it holds some promise of a breakthrough, revealing things in new light.

  • oh shit, directly identified the assailant.... FUUUUUUUCK im so sorry marijuana!

  • OH SHIT SON!!! I guess "The Happening" with Mark Walburg isnt too crazy after all

  • I had no idea there was a video of this marvelous book. I bought "The Secret Life Of Plants" about 3or 4 years ago and have been telling people about it since then. In fact that is what prompted me to search Google because I keep forgetting the correct names of the authors and it's quicker to Google than for me to get up and get the book, rotfl. This message goes to Gabi (HawkEyeGirl565) who is also interested in buying the book along with Dr. Emoto's research about water consciousness. <3 AC

  • 13 people are vegen and don't know what the are going to eat now... :0)

  • @illtrax To honor all life and to give it thanks, to appreciate and nurture it, is key. As we know the aberrations that Monsanto are doing with plants are abominations, also. Accountability. It is difficult to be a conscious human and thus why so many drug, drink, and live in denial. Unforgivably this is also why this planet is on the verge of extinction. Truth is a pathless land and it takes everything to forge a way that is truly acceptable in the most inner sanctums of our being.

  • WHAT THE FUCK!

  • Very interesting video.

  • Take that vegetarians!

  • damn and they say meat eaters are bad....<_<...

  • Its silly, this proves how ignorant people are. Just because something doesnt speak our own language or communicates differently, we assume it cannot speak at all. and therefore has no intelligence. Ive always thought plants were able to feel, and i guess my hunch was right. But this goes beyond that. This research suggest plants can read minds and sense death that is nearby. This suggests that if any form of communication were to established to plants, it would be telepathically.

  • @kittycat101010 telepathically or telempathically.

  • freaky shit

  • make no mistake, men like this are a threat, a threat to the establishment. Any time to attempt to tie together with the scientific method, the virtual fact that we are all connected with something analytical that people who have not jumped on the oneness bandwagon, you make a bold stand against individuality, against the idea that the world was given to man to enslave, destroy, and conquer.

  • Super fascinating

  • Lets pull our resources together and figure this out on our own. Instead of waiting for some scientist priest to look kindly on this subject. If the results are undeniable we should be relentless in our pursuit of acceptance of this new reality. Galileo's observations made way for the Heliocentric theory (remember we [earth] are not the center the of the universe) , maybe now we have to go a step further and show that our own brains and consciousness is not at the center of the universe either.

  • Woe to those who disagree with Science, for they are the new Church! All things must be proven in a particular way and explained based on the status quo, even if the discovery itself calls for a redefinition of the status quo! "Delusional" has replaced "Heretic" and mental hospitals have replaced hell! For it's only a matter of time that they begin to probe people to check for mind crimes, before they become a Fascist dictatorship that decide what you are allowed to think!

  • amazing!

people should definitely continue to do more research on the consciousness of plants.. because this is profound!

  • i wanna buy 1 house plant :-)

  • We are all connected. All living things. Humans, plants, animals, etc. To the universal life force. As 1 consciousness.

The sooner we all set aside our petty differences and see beyond meaningless diversionary "left vs right!" political BS, racial stereotypes, rise above our programming and conditioning to unite together as HUMAN BEINGS on this wonderful planet, the better...

  • @rg2027x when you ask or seek for this to happen, so it will...

    *Agree fully.

    =)

  • @rg2027x Hand and hand we'll walk together spread the peace ~

  • @rg2027x FUCKIN SPOT ON! You took my thoughts and put them into the perfect words.

  • Why don't they teach this in schools? We learn about pavlov's stupid dog in psychology class don't we? That's what dissuaded me from pursuing a science degree. Science is awesome. The Scientific Method is awesome! The biased morons who refuse to acknowledge viable research because it disprove their finite paradigms and breaks their stereotypes just get in the way of people who are serious about acquiring genuine knowledge. Unfortunately they do a good job of it.

  • @DarkArckana You know, after much thought about the people you describe, I don't consider them to be scientists at all. A scientist should appreciate being proven wrong, because they would then be able to learn something. Many "scientists" today have created a belief system on what they "know", and effectively reject the pursuit of knowledge, like you have mentioned, to maintain their rigid paradigms. Really quite sad when you think about it.

  • @blackmajek I agree wholeheartedly! This is not the way of the genuine study of science. Luckily, I decided to look into the older textbooks that most "students" of science simply discard. Not only do they provide much valuable insight, but they're better written, whereas the new books are simply a mongrel mix of sophisticated and stupid simple. It's like they're talking to "Little Howie" from "The Andy Griffith" show.

  • Instead of discussing the operation principles of a phenomenon, they simply save themselves the effort of thinking by asserting platitudes of the Finite Physicalist Paradigm and assume the reader already accepts these notions about the Universe. The mistake here, is that modern science has attempted to tie in all of the discoveries about that have been found and formed it into a world view. Hence, it has become a new religion that has elected "professionals" as its clergy.

  • @DarkArckana yeah i hate biased morons who stop people from persuing knowledge.

  • Holy shit! a japanese talking cactus?!

  • so this is like the morphogenetic field rupert sheldrake studies. a quantum field?

  • @tonyrosam - I agree! I have read several of Rupert Sheldrake's books, and listened to his lectures that are posted here on youtube, and I believe that these experiments DO support Dr. Sheldrake's hypothesis of Morphic Resonance, which incorporates telepathy and extended consciousness.

On my channel, I've posted a book review of his excellent 2009 edition of "Morphic Resonance", AKA "A New Science of Life"

    watch?v=Gh_Rx1Is56s

I've also favorited many of his lectures.

  • thats wild

  • This was all documented in the 1880's by an Indian scientist was repudiated by the British Academy. He then self published his research; a very radical action in those days. Read the book "The Secret Lives of Plants from the 1970s,

  • I dont understand the whole Concept to this video!~ Can somebody please help me understand this..?

    THanks

  • There is a feeling conciousness within plants, and the world... And more.

  • The concept of the video is that plants are living, breathing, thinking, conscious lifeforms with the ability to communicate intelligently with man and other plants in its environment.

  • Hi Gaby, thanks! I've always been curious about this documentary, because of the beautiful music by Stevie WONDER.

  • Condemnation without investigation - real clever attitude.

  • I try to be closed-minded enough to keep my brain inside my skull

  • Cleave Baxter's work is legit and comprehensive.

A welcome addition to our body of knowledge.

  • Comment removed

  • stevie wonder music

  • this is great

  • Cool stuff!

  • this is widely accepted and understood using common sense. all life affects and feels all in the physical, cause-effect, equal-one. the Desteni forum/Portal interviews explain this

  • As the interviews through the DesteniProductions portal indicate -- everything is alive and aware

  • no wonder the world is like it is - plant obviously pick up our angry and destructive thoughts. if ever there was a call for language to change and for positive thinking to be implemented in schools , this is it.

everyone should mental focus on the divine within us all i bet the plants would like that.

  • read backsters book primary perception, waitin on secret life of plants. backster also worked for the army, navy and cia, i love this weird shit!

  • My orchids are republicans.

  • you know, though, plants do use light a lot, so perhaps they have a special relationship with it that we don't understand. We have yet to fully understand light's weird, quantum nature.

  • great point

  • water wouldnt exist with out light so we be feeling as light is within me

  • I'm not sure how much I believe, however. Some parts seem really out there while others seem logical.

  • This was informative and slightly creepy. Thank you for posting it.

  • DAMN,,,, thats sick

  • I have learned my plant to work as an answering machine.

  • What equipment did they use to measure the electrical activity on the plants?

  • search: polygraph

  • @griever3 A Polygraph machine, same machinary they use to test human's during a lie detection test.

  • wonderful, thanks for sharing!

  • Amazing Book....a must read that will change how you look and feel about plants.

  • The energy we take in to our bodies will shape our thought patterns, and our thought patterns will determine the choices we make as to which energies we take in. So we come to the "chicken or the egg" scenario. Which came first, the energies coming in which effected our thought patterns, or the choices we made as to which energies we will take in?

  • that's pretty cool

  • Yhea, but can they have sex

  • You mean like an instinctive drive to reproduce + hormones? Even people seem to think flowers are very sexy. Other than that they of course leach from their primitive lower life forms(humans)

If you are a nerd, think of it like your robot building little baby robots.

Just ask any plant, pay attention to the first answer that pops to your mind, your thoughts are clearly not your own

Could build the apparatus and teach it US English

    F^k S^t C^t F^g etc?

Imagine all the fun you could have?

  • @gabydewilde what?
