I know I feel better being around nature and I also know that my projected thoughts when I garden helps my plants. They grow healthy and bear tones of fruit. My father has told me about the consciousness of plants and animals before. Another person told me if you put seeds in your mouth and allow the seeds to read what is wrong with your system, when you plant it the plant can better nourish you. I can't prove that it's true, but you never know.

Why don't they teach this in schools? We learn about pavlov's stupid dog in psychology class don't we? That's what dissuaded me from pursuing a science degree. Science is awesome. A scientist should appreciate being proven wrong, because they would then be able to learn something. Many "scientists" today have created a belief system on what they "know", and effectively reject the pursuit of knowledge, like you have mentioned, to maintain their rigid paradigms. Really quite sad when you think about it.

Not only do they provide much valuable insight, but they're better written, whereas the new books are simply a mongrel mix of sophisticated and stupid simple. It's like they're talking to "Little Howie" from "The Andy Griffith" show.
