Nice work with this vid, BradRy2. Music choices and editing and stuff. Just looked up the Wikipedia entry on Darkstalkers - 5 games in total, not counting the re-releases. And with each of them introducing different modes and Specials, it's no wonder why it seems so confusing to me. I take it that DS3 takes the best of the Vampire Hunter and Vampire Savior games?

@BradRy2 Damn, should've clarified that. I was referring to the power-up mode, actually. If memory serves, the other two power-up modes (from past games) would be the Dark Savior and Dark Force modes. GameFAQs does offer a little insight on those modes, but not by much, IMHO. But then again, I haven't played this again since I returned my friend's Dalkstalkers 3 PSX to him ages ago.

DF Power was always funner because you could still do DF change moves. So Jedah can still use up a super bar to fly or Raptor can still pull out the chainsaw_^)

Capcom is a business so it has to work on what can sale I suppose. I think the issue is, if they waited so long to make a sequel, those who were fans might have gotten a bit too impatient now. Plus, it was a "simple" 2-D graphics style, with systems nowadays I don't know if they could really make one that would feel and look like the original series (though from what I see, I might only like the 3rd one, which I own anyways). Look at SF4, it doesn't seem like SF at all to me.

I dunno if Capcom could be bothered to work on a half way modern game in the series. If it's not spamming Megaman games, they're focusing on Street Fighter and Rushing out DMC4

Sadly that's the problem. They're focusing too much not on Megaman but on Street Fighter, RE, Lost Planet, and other titles I'm not really a fan of.
