  • My favorite would be the one at the end of each battle(don't know the name) followed by assault from ffx

  • As far as favorites are concerned I'd say my top ten would be:

Mystic Mysidia FF4, Kefka FF6, Garland's Theme FF1, Matoya's Cave FF1, Figaro Anthem FF6, Vala Alla Flamenco FFIX, Calbrena FF4, Dreadful Fight (elemental fiend theme)FF4 , & Dance with the Balamb Fish FF8.

  • My list of the top 10 best songs would be The Theme of Final Fantasy (Prologue) FF1, Rebel Army Theme FF2, Theme of Love FF4, Clash on Big Bridge (Gilgamesh's theme) FF5, The Dream Oath Opera FF6, Aerith's Theme FF7, Love Grows FF8, Melodies of Life FF9, Zanarkand FFX. After that I usually would list Dancing Mad from FF6, and sometimes instead of the Rebel Army Theme I'd list Suteki Da Ne FFX.

  • I also think I listed what I believe are the best songs of the series. I was interested in what you and others thought of them as a list of the best songs, judged objectively rather than as a personal favorite. For me, my personal favorites reside mostly in FF1, 2, & 3 (US versions, IE FF1, 4 & 6) Mystic Mysidia probably being my favorite of all, but I wouldn't call it the best. I respect your list of favorites. I was just interested in what you thought of as the best 10, personal biases aside

  • I probably also mentioned that you were probably a 2nd gen FF fan. Not something you should be insulted by, you can help how old you are, and I'm not the type of guy to imply you're somehow inferior simply because you were born a decade or so after myself. That'd be stupid on MY part to do so. However it IS pretty easy to spot 2nd gen FF fans based off the heavy selection of playstation FF songs instead of S/NES based FF songs. Again, don't mistake these observations as insults. It is what it is

  • Huh... don't remember what I said here to get you all pissed off at me. At least not exactly. Seems like I said something to the effect that often times the best song from one of the core FF games is a song that should be on the top ten list, and it's hard to take a list like this seriously as a best of list. However you didn't make a top ten list of what you think are the best songs, you listed what are your favorites. Big difference.

  • 10 - Awesome!! 9 - Awesome! This one somewhat makes me feel proud! 8 - Not one of my faves but still really nice 7 - So emotional! Wonderful piece! 6 - So Great!! 5 - I don't like the FF songs with a singer. Kinda ruins it for me. 4 - Epic song!! Love it!! 3 - Wonderful! 2 - Awesome!! 1 - Awesome!! Great choices!
