Children are neglected, and people turn a blind eye to it, it's quite sad, but true.

this campaign is to raise awareness, and that doesn't mean just taking a vow for one day and forgetting about it the next. This is supposed to help young people realize that they DO have a voice, it's supposed to motivate us to do what we can to help those in need

people don't understand that they don't have the right to speak,

they do, it's just that many children's voices are not listen to, by their families, they're community and the government,

even in Canada, children don't have the same amount of rights as adults until they are 12 years old, they are considered incapable of making their own decisions. and if that's how things in Canada (one of the most progressive countries to live in) are then just imagine how a child in a developing country lives

I live in the United States but I watched today's We Day on a Webcast and was so inspired by everything. I signed up for this and convinced my parents to donate a dollar for every hour I'm silent on November 30th. I'm honestly excited for the Vow of Silence. I wish we had We Day here in the United States because I'd love the chance to experience everything in person. It's so inspirational.
