Both had sexy, unique, passionate, blues based voices, music, internal emotional/spiritual conflicts, life time struggles with substance abuse, and premature deaths at age 27 from OD. Such tragedy....Others passing at 27 included the legendary Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison (Doors), blues legend, Robert Johnson, and more. Always makes me weep to see great artists self destruct.
