for some ppl tht asked why big z doesnt jerk his legs.. is bcos he has the strongest shoulder on earth and he doesnt need any leg drive or jerk.. just saying
Savickas must have the strongest shoulders of any man alive, maybe any man ever. After reading about his 210 kilo (463lb) log lift at the WSM, I'd be willing to bet that he'll be the first man (and maybe the last man) to lift a 500lb (226 kilo) log. Only 38lbs (17 kilos) more than he is already pressing - it's possible in the next 2 years.
@bagzie The reason he can move colossal poundages is that he effectively performs an upright incline bench press.Check out his form on the second rep. and he is leaning so far back his upper torso is almost at right angles to the rest of his body. While not strictly comparable because of the different weight forms and shapes,Serge Redding and Alexeyev did nearly 30kg more with a less pronounced backward lean.Incredible strength, though!
I think there is another person inside his abdomen..lmao! Seriously though, he has the most static strength in the sport, he didn't even push press or jerk it, he pressed it from his clavicle area like it was 100kilos
HOW THE F**K ... I realllly wonder how he gets elevation enough to press it, why doesnt he push press it? or jerk? I wonder if he can do more that way or theres some 'Bizzare' technuiqe he's using. Uses alottt of chest.
He moves that shit continental style. Some of the heaviest old-style pressers moved poundages in military presses as big as others were jerking overhead.
