Both this single and the album were released in 1968. There's a slow version of the song on the "White Album" called-"Revolution 1" that Lennon initial wanted to put out as the single. There's a "Slight" lyrical difference on the slow version. There's also an Avant- Garde Sound Collage on the "White Album" called-"Revolution 9".
