  • I agree with the WHAT THE FUCK guy. This is epic.

  • I love this song! anyone else get an 80s feel from this tune? <3 arcade fire man!

  • 12 PPL SHOULD KEEP THEIR CARS RUNNING... OFF A CLIFF... WITH THEM INSIDE OF COURSE!!

  • I like the concept. In fact, I fucking love the concept. Hell, the instrumentation is great. The timing on the vocals.... not so much.

  • This is too good to be true.

  • absolutely love this collaboration. . . .Bruce is such a youthful spirit on stage and superior talent along with Arcade Fire. . . .

  • dislikers stopped the car...

  • Hey - it's a musical wet dream! The Boss w/ Arcade Fire!!

  • I don't get it; was Bruce at the concert or were they opening for him or something?

  • @janustismith it was a Bruce concert a few years back in Ottawa. he surprised everyone with the couple joining him onstage for a couple of songs

  • arcade fire respects the Boss.

  • This is literally so perfect it hurts me. I just wish it were higher quality.

  • and don't trust people who dislike this.

  • Arcade Fire AKA the second novel by William Golding.

  • I was there that night. I second the guy who screams "Holllllllly shit"! I was in the pit and I thinking the same thing. I've been a Springsteen fan sinc I was three years old my Mom first sat me down with the Born in the USA tape. Arcade Fire are one of my favourite bands as an adult. I think they're a tremendously important band. This made my musical dreams comes true.

  • DO IT RIGHT!!!

  • Two of the best artists we will ever see in our lifetime.

  • pretty sure i'd be going off my head too!!

  • its like mixing sex with star wars how the fuck could that go wrong!

  • Guck

  • The first time i heard that song, I swear it was so Springsteen, and to hear them play it together is unreal although it's 4 years later and I just arcade fire in Chicago

  • "YEEES YEEESSS HOOOLY SHIIIIIIT !!!"

  • Arcaded Fire are the real deal. When the rock behemoths(Springsteen, Bowie) wanna sing with you then you've made it!

  • funny how springsteen is singing this song, seeing as how the first time i heard this song i thought it was springsteen.

  • loll

"oh my goohhohhd.. what the fuck!"

    orgasm moment

  • I like this guys reaction its just brilliant .

He knows just how amazing this is to see this is like seeing god and jesus before your own eyes.

  • @BrianIsChill Except for that Win and Bruce are real.

  • @pr4mojo EXACTLY!

  • The guy filming's freak out is amazing :P

  • Oh.... my..... god....

  • Grab the audio from this track at soundnabber doht cohm.

  • I congratulate whoever filmed this, because you, sir, have captured on camera the most epic performance of anything, ever.

  • Imagine being Springsteen in this moment, having the honour of playing on stage with Arcade Fire. ;)

  • @Masteryre I'd feel really lucky. It's actually just Regine and Win performing with Bruce and his band but that's still a great honor. If I could choose to perform with any band, my choice would definitely be Arcade Fire! I heard Bruce is a fan of Arcade Fire and vice versa.

  • @Masteryre I hope that was sarcastic

  • @swimfreak430 Well it wasn't entirely serious, obviously. I prefer Arcade Fire's music, but they have quite a little way to go before they have the reputation of Springsteen.

  • i always thought this sounded like a bruce song anyways

  • best part is the filmers freak out/ sheer excitement for this. whole thing gives me goosebumps

  • oh.my.fcuking.god.

why have i only found this now? A

    AMAZING! MY TWO FAVOURITE ARTISTS

  • Love the guy at the start 'Oh my God, WHAT THE FUCK? YYEEAHAAAH!" :D

  • This just blew my mind out through my ass hole. Its left me lying in a pool of brainy butt juice and my little crack is singing the chorus and im just laughing like ive been given bad news but have went into denial and think its all a joke but really i know that my friends are dead in a car fire. Thats how much this has blew my my tiny mind.

  • @Squemby perhaps you should contact a physician/psychologist about that problem...

  • YES! YES! HOLY. SHIT!

  • Imagine being Win Butler in that moment. Having The Boss sing your lyrics and play your song. Amazing scenes

  • John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band - "On the Dark Side"

these two songs sound very similar, too similar.

and JC sounds like the Boss, Arcade of Fire does rock, good for Canada.

  • Is the double rainbow guy filming this or in close proximity?

  • @vans77587 haha ur talking about the guy at the beginning aren't you? lol Ide say he was high but I'de probably sound the same if it were me

  • Springsteen's my favorite and I'm seeing AF tomorrow night in Portland!!

  • Was this a sprinsteen concert or an AF concert??

  • @howardmoon1234 springsteen

  • @howardmoon1234 Springsteen, thats tallents piano and Maxx is there playin drums! Just spotted SvZ too. It's only AF's lead singer and wife I think!

  • WOOOO! YESSSS! HOLY SHIT!!!

  • does anyone really think bruce got on that stage with af so fans could comment on his superiority over the group? hell no. it was simply put, a rare, great moment in rock concert history. a legend belting out a great song with a great band.

  • I got chills when bruce did his first part. it's obvious that he has done soem serious listening to arcade fire. And i love bruce. I was in the front row when he played on Obama's campaign/ get the vote out in Philly, Pretty amazing.

  • Wow. This just fucking rocks!

  • Dude....thanks for posting this.

  • Why watch the video if your gonna dislike it....:S

KEEP THE CAR RUNNING!!!! KEEP THE NO TASTE BASTARDS OUT!!!!

  • who voted negative on this? seriously. this is amazing!

  • i really like arcade fire but springsteen is a legend like no other. arcade fire doesn't compare

  • I WISH I WAS THEEEREEEEEEEEEE

  • "Oh my God, what the FAAAACK"

  • @Shmuhzzle too funny for words

  • Fuck, this is good.

  • I love how she jams while she plays the accordion

  • Arcade Fire are too good for him

  • @bitchenhitchen You've got to be kidding.

  • @bitchenhitchen He's still the boss. What they're for us today, he was for our parents in the 70s.

  • @bitchenhitchen yeah, right. pull your head outta your ass. party pooper.

  • @bitchenhitchen As much as I love AF, but c'mon... they're not even close to being as good as The Boss and I think they all know that.

  • On the Dark Side By John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band

  • On the Dark Side By John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band. Plug that into YouTube and you'll hear a very similar song. I'm sure someone else has noticed, though.

  • YES, YESSSS HOLY SHIT! Brilliant :)

  • AF can be what all the best musicians want to be

  • hahaha! Unashamedly stolen from blah blah blah

  • HELLLLL YEAHHH OMFG...THIS AWESOME...MAKES ME THINK OF GOOD OLE NASHVILLE....WHOA...........

  • "Oh my god. WHAT THE FUCK. YEAAH!"

  • I totally think of The Boss when I hear this song

  • this video MADE my day. love the boss, love so much arcade fire, love the guy that screamed all the time.

  • The Boss. And Arcade Fire. My brain just exploded.

  • @DeadMoose01 hahaha ik! u took the words right outta my mouth!!

  • @DeadMoose01

    Bowie was first Lol

  • The Boss and Arcade Fire...epic.

  • if this was the best concert in your life... then i'd be extremely jealous for all of mine! nice vid!

  • YOu guys are freaking out. With good Reason.

  • Normally I HATE the crowd in youtube music, but in this video it totally adds. You can tell he is genuinely happy to be witnessing that moment. I got mad goosebumps.

  • @mwright83 My thoughts exactly. I would have been that nuts too!

  • Are you serious? I could explode with excitement. The Fire and The Boss are two of my favorite artists of all time.

  • I would have cried. Definately. OH-MY-GOD.

  • on the first listen i was thinking, "damn, i wish these people would calm down and let me listen to the song..." but then i thought, "how would i have acted if i were there?" and then i actually grew to like the sound. this is what it should sound like. people should go crazy when they hear/see something like this. two worlds colliding have never sounded better. at the 3:50 mark when he yells out "holy shit!"...yeah, that pretty much sums it up. thanks for posting this.

  • I may or may not have just cried... I think I did.

  • Arcade Fire:

You know about them if you know about them, and you don't if you don't. But you damn well better...or you won't. And then your life will suck. The end.

  • the guy screaming all the way through the video pretty much sums it up for me..haha

i only wish i could've been there...the boss and arcade fire on the same frickin' stage!

  • @ PanBehindMyEye: Yeah, kinda like today's Joy Division if you think about it, except Joy Division didn't get nearly as much recognition before Ian Curtis passed. And I woulda liked this cover better if Regine had her hurdy gurdy.... But it was still EPIC.

  • @Browncoat1138 Brilliant comment on Ian Curtis BTW, well said man, R.I.P Ian, Aracde fire do rawk tho!

  • Is this a boss gig or an arcade fire one? I thought I caught a climpse of the e-street band. As cool as it would be to have the arcade turn up to your Springsteen gig could you imagine if you went to an arcade fire gig and the boss turned up!! Wow

  • The greatest moment on that tour-Bruce should really do these kinds of things much more often in every town he tours in-keep it fresh

  • Honestly, when I first heard this song, It totally reminded me of old Bruce, and I thought it would make an awesome duet, him and Arcade Fire.

  • Springsteen is just a huge arcade fire fan, he talks them up all the time on e-street radio so he isn't really trying to gain anything by playing with them.

  • I don't realy remember making that comment; I was pretty drunk. I do stand by what I said though because as for his adoration of Arcade Fire resulting in him playing with them -OK, I can see how that would be possible- but the Bon Jovi thing? Yeah, no.

  • I agree that Bon Jovi sucks pretty hard, but they are both from new jersey and springsteens good collaborations greatly out weigh the bad. REM, Warren Zevon, Gary US Bonds, Roy Orbison are all great

  • This is a great performance, no doubt, but bear in mind that he also collaborated on stage with Bon Jovi. I think The Boss is great but I also believe that he has no frame of reference where anything past 1982 is concerend. He is an opportunist. A great guy, a great musician, but just because he sings with Arcade Fire doesn't mean that he is the grandfather of smartpop, nor that they are the new torchbearers of the same.

  • @BicycleTragedy he's just a big fan of arcade fire, i dont see how that makes him an ppportunist considering he is 80x more famous. He is just a music fan

  • The boss should do an albums of covers! His a great vocalist, not only a songwriter

  • MUSICGASM.

that's just what it is, right there. the boss, performing with 2 of the most talented people on the planet.

  • First time I heard this song I thought I'd never heard of Arcade Fire and thought it was some weird demo from The River

  • The people going crazy at the beginning is possibly one of the best parts of this video..... Yeah, I'd freak out if I heard Bruce play this song, too. I love it.

  • fuckin' lucky bastards all those people who saw this alive!

  • AHHHHH!!!! im in love!!

  • The Boss!!!!!!! is Great!!!

  • lol at the end

    HOLY SHIT!!

  • The first time I heard this song, my first thought was it could've either come off of Born to Run or Darkness on the Edge of Town...but to see him play it with them, amazing!!!!

  • This is what these people were born for.

  • that was one of the best things i have ever listened to. truly amazing.

  • there is something about this being in black and white that makes it all the more surreal. one of the most incredible things ever. i keep getting chills watching this repeat. The guy's reaction on here only heightens this. Brilliant!

  • this is terrific! one of my old heroes along with new idols. thanks!

  • Nice work racethebreeze. epic.

  • Thank GOD for the person that caught this on video. I WOULD'VE LOST MY MIND. OMG.

The guy that yelled in the beginning? Yeah, that totally would've been me.

Arcade Fire and The Boss!!! Can't believe it!

  • Yess!!

  • hahah, I love the guy who filmed thisl. I too would have gone bananas.

I love that everyone wants to play Arcade Fire songs! Honestly, is it possible to hate the Arcade Fire, or think they're overrated? No.

  • this is terrrrrific

  • Yes!

  • Really nice seeing classic rockers such as David Bowie and Bruce Springsteen play with bands such as Arcade Fire. Makes me feel happy to see that music from the 2000's is being appreciated and respected by older people.

  • yeh... i couldnt say it better snowsh00. Ive seen Foo Fighters cover this song too, they did a bad ass job. Its awesome seein great artists play with this band. I actually appreciate Arcade Fire more for it now.

  • whoever is filming--my reaction would've most definitely been the same.

  • BEST.VIDEO.EVER.

What I wouldn't give to have seen this live...

  • Yeah, just so special. The audience reaction when KTCR starts says it all really!

  • wOw!

  • OMG, amazing, :D

  • Goose bumps!!!!

  • OMFG this is soooo cool! great video...

  • Great and sincere reaction from "the Dude"

  • Yap. Love him!

  • epic performance!

  • haha i love the guys reaction!

    amazing song

  • Whats funny is that e-street doesn't play it as well and they've been around for forever. I wonder how long they ha to learn it?

  • Often times they won't rehearse songs, they'll figure it out onstage and go for it. But when there's a special guest they would probably sound check it once or twice, and that will be it.

  • wow, phenomenal

  • Seriously who dosent like arcade fire? ;)

  • I think this is not possible dude. With any kind of doubt, the most dynamic band I have ever seen.

Just amazing. I wish they´ll come back soon to Spain.

  • That guy yelling WTF at the beginning sounds like Richard Parry. I wonder.

  • It truly says something about a band when their own obvious influences can also be counted as their fans Bruce Springsteen, U2, David Bowie, David Byrne. I've heard Dave Grohl and Chris Martin also count themselves as big fans. Crazy covers from Magnetic Fields to Talking heads to Violent Femmes to Bowie (and that's just scratching the surface). AF will become one of those rare and hugely influential bands that may not be fully mainstream but end up influencing everybody down the road.

  • @PainBehindMyEye

Agreed! AF is one of those quirky bands you just can't put your arms around, yet, influence a great many musicians... weird, huh?

  • @PainBehindMyEye

    Pixies V2.0

  • @PainBehindMyEye Also Velvet Underground 2.0

  • @PainBehindMyEye kkind of like velvet underground?

  • I simply ADORE this video!!!! Thank you so much! I get tears in my eyes every time I see it!

  • Does anyone know if this was Bruce's show or Arcade Fire's. Like who was the guest?

  • It was Bruce's. Pretty great, right?

  • haha "oh my god, what the fuck?" at the beginning. This is so amazing.

  • I was screaming "oh my god, what the fuck?" at the beginning.

  • it wasnt you, it was me.

  • I mean when I watched the video.

  • haha i LOVE this guy screaming right at the beginning ^^

  • yes man, this happens to me all the time duing Springsteen gigs. ;-)

  • great JEM of video!!! magicAL ...... thank you

  • one word: EPIC!

  • The guy who lost his shit right at the beginning..... I am right there with you bro!

  • sure man, Arcade Fire with the Boss ... doesn`t get any better.

  • I love Springsteen and Arcade Fire. It's great to see them play together. Perfect

  • This is pretty friggin awesome. To say the least.

  • "Holy Shit!" haha sums it up pretty nicely

  • wow.

  • Video doesn't capture the experience well enough. >:(

  • sick fucking business

  • this is haunting-ly good

  • Not that bad! Springsteen is 'not that bad!' Blasphemy. He is at least 100 times better than good.

  • Not a 100 times better than good. Simply put he is a living legend.

  • a couple of Arcade Fire tracks sound like Springsteen, i've never been into Springsteen, but now i will give him a listen, maybe he's not that bad !.
