What's so great about hybrids? Even if they burn 5% less petrol than normal cars, what about the other 95%? We won't end global warming by reducing emissions by emissions only 5%, We should get electric cars and charge them with emissions free nuclear power. Even driving a smaller car with a conventional engine would burn less petrol than a hybrid. If you want to save the environment, keep driving your old car. If everyone got a hybrid they'd have to make millions of new cars.
@MrGeocidal Yea but they should just stop building these common mudslinger for good - at least now! And wait... nuclear power = emission free? Sure who cares about spent nuclear fuel, just burry it in the desert... Also ask some Ukrainians and Japanese about that. I would laugh if it wasn't for all the diseases and worse that'll be caused by this "emission free power"... again!
