XD. Wow. I don't think, in ANY game he's appeared in, that Geese was ever lower than Lower-Top or just Top Tier. He was ALWAYS good to borderline cheap (Nightmare Geese being cheap)

It's just a shame that Geese seems to be the only SVC character added into the PS2 version that's worth a damn. I've never really been personally able to get Goenitz to work out that well.

And Riot Iori can't take a damn hit. His defense is nerfed done to nearly nothing!

What do I think about Geese?

Simple...he's not in the arcade version so it doesn't concern me.

If you are going to try and say Geese IS tops though, your video should really be played against a good player who uses Athena/Billy/Choi

Tier wise I'd say 2K2 is finely balanced, it is hard to make a "top 10 list" as good characters are missed out.

I dont think you can pick geese in the arcade version of this game. So its possible asian players never explored geese cause they could not use him in the arcade .

Isn't every version of Geese with the spiked Raging Storm top tier anyway? I mean, that's just what I've noticed anyway. Not that the move MAKES him top tier, but that's what they have in common.

I was asking around with no answers, but Young Geese hasn't been announced for 2k2UM yet right? Seems like he should, probably the last chance for that exact version of him to appear in anything other than NW.

My take is this, if they can include Kyo-1, Kyo-2, Kusanagi, AND SHIN KYO, Then they can include SVC Geese AND Young Geese as separate characters..my complete 2k2UM team would probably be along the lines of: Young Geese, Geese, Choi. But no Young Geese hasn't been confirmed yet, we can only speculate..some say it's gonna be EX Robert in place but we don't know...it could be YG.

You tell me how he's not top tier..this is what the Japanese Tier list plus plenty others were saying in this game... But I disagree for obvious reasons..he really doesnt even need MAXMODE or his SVC Infinite to beat you in this game...he is just superior... I'd say top 3/4 in the game with EASE...

From this demonstration it seems obvious. Geese is owning like he was in SVC Chaos in Max mode- but *all the time*. Geese does not require these silly extra GAME MECHANICS to beat everyone. He simply BEATS EVERYONE. When you think about it, he has all the move types covered, and excellent normals to boot. And cancels. And supers. How is this not top tier??
