I am 19 years old and i listen to Tom Petty since i am 12 i think or maybe a little younger. actually , Tom Petty is the artist i started listening music with. And him , is the one that got me into rock music , later on along with ZZ Top , ELO , and without him, i probably wouldnt have become a big dieheart metalhead.

They opened with this on the MOJO 2010 Tour, My first time seeing my favorite band ever! I died a little inside. Truly AMAZING!! I wish I would have been around in the 70's/80's to experience sooooo many Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers concerts!!

I saw Tom petty back in the '80's at hara arena in Dayton,Ohio and some guy jumped up on stage during his song, "Running Down A Dream" and it was so funny, because as the security guard's were carrying him off, HE WAS STILL DANCING!!!!

@ccirishplaya I saw many concets at Hara in the 80's, never Petty tho. Did see him @ Polaris in Columbus in 96,and out of all the concerts I've been to over the years, he ranks in my top 3. No frills, no fire breatthing, no pyrotechnics, just awesome ass kick rock and roll, with his flannel shirt and black converse tennis shoes he gave one of the best live peformances I've ever been lucky enough to see! ROCK ON!!!
