@evoi7 No I have no idea... I think in this video the trumpets are: Erik Veldkamp, Herwin Lokken, Erik Hilferink and Roeland Cleijne. So I have no idea about Pascal... sorry.
Looks to me the band has its origin in Holland, not Germany. Whatever happened to that cute blonde Bariton sax player they had in 2005? Problem is, these girls get married and that's the end of it. Pitty!
That's a nice version of the song, which is one of my favorites, but there isn't any singing =( and is that glenn miller or someone else directing the band ?
No the Band director is Wil Salden. Glenn Miller himself is not alive anymore. He went missing with his plane while traveling to entertain the troops during WW2. There is singing in the Leroy brown video.
Thank you too! You`re the first one who took the time to place a comment. It was a great show. I even got permission from one of the band members (Erik Veldkamp on trumpet) to put these two videos up... as long as it`s not mis-used. I hope a lot of other people enjoy the music and appreciate the kind gesture. The Glenn Miller Orchestra is great.. even for people who aren`t old enough to have listened to their music in the old days with "the real" Glenn Miller.
That is an unforgotten classic, simply super and very beautiful. Thanks for the high chest.

Who is that on the trombone with the solo?
TayAP1234 2 years ago
There are 4 trombones in The Glenn Miller Orchestra:
Uli Plettendorff, Hansjörg Fink, André Pet and Jenke de Vries. But... I am not sure who is playing the solo here.
