yes you CAN BUT the gearing will be very tall. i had slow accel on this with the stock gearing but i modified the center to accommodate a 44 tooth sprocket and then it hauled ass!!! so in the end it was 20/44-21/52 gear ratio.

your crazy man. do the math how much power + torque can i get from a 49cc 2 smoke engine? how much power + torque can i get from a 120cc 4 stroke engine? look up minidragbike all those mini bikes use these types of engines. (honda gx series) i had a 1970 vintage cat with modded gx140 that was a beast made 9hp and maxed out at 57mph on a 12/36 ratio.

i see what you are trying to say your engine is smaller and produces ALMOST as much power, BUT what you dont know is how much torque you 39cc engine produces. "Torque wins races, horsepower sells cars." my gx140 was torquey as @#$% it could move THREE people on it which is more than a 400 pound load and it still pulled hard. your c1 and my banshee could NEVER do that. im not gonna lie my banshee was faster than my gx140 i maxed out on it at an average of 64-66 mph on 7/64 gearing.

to change first ud need to rip the transmission apart and replace that gear...but it depends on where u ride it...heres a simple rule...smaller rear sprocket = faster top speed but dosnt have any good take off...bigger rear sprocket = decrease in speed..but good for racing because of its torque and take off power

Yeah change the rear sprocket for something smaller, or the front for something bigger. One tooth changed on the front is equivilent to 3 at the back usually

yes the smaller the rear sprocket the more speed , but alot less acceleration . the bigger wicked accel but bad speed.. u must have a 2 big a sprocket if its reaving up or a knackerd clutch.

this is a cateye not a 110cc x series bike. the cateyes come with a 43-49cc 2 stroke engine, this was a complete swap of a motor.

you can get clones of those motors real cheap and there just as good. He used a stock cateye frame and just popped new holes as motor mounts through the plate. So far this costs only 75$ Other mods might get you too about 200$
