You can do drybones special with a chip along the edge:

1. shock goalie

2. take chip shot

3. ball will bounce of crossbar

4. run to other side after chip and finish it off! -or just pass to someone with a better angle-

It's much easier to do the toad pass with diddy kong. With toad u just jump the goalie at the right time and he will dive under you.

thx a lot now i can perform these tricks but there's another so listen up...: sa you play with boo what u gonna do is go to the corner close to the keeper, then press b (don't let the ball get kicked) then go to keepers side (invisible thing) then give three passes. you can shot and all ur shots will become goals (after a goal remember to do it again or it will not work)!

Good video. I only knew like 2 of theese. And by the way people: these aren't cheating. These are stradegies... For example the toad one where he sets the goalie on fire can be stopped by tackling toad and it is pretty fair because Toads special almost never goes in therefore he should be abe to atleast do that. And here it might look like cheating because they were letting themselves score the goals. Stop being stupid just because you guys can't do the tricks.

These tricks completely ruin the online experience! It's so annoying when you play an intense game and it gets into overtime only to find your opponent using one of those annoying tricks to win the game. I wish these tricks were never discovered and it could be exactly how nintendo intended it to be. Shooting, megastrikes, items, skillshots, NOT tricks. Blah, done ranting. That's just my view on these.

@JordanDupuis101 I dont understand why these tricks are so hated. Everysingle one of them you can block. If you see your opponent going for a chip shot, Spam Z+A to immediately pass the ball away from your goal when your opponent chips it. @sakon14 Because these "tricks" are glitches, meaning they're not meant to be in the game. Of course there are ways to block the tricks but it depends on the style of team you have. If you have mostly shooters with a couple playmakers, the majority of your team wont be fast enough to block those tricks. Also, the goalie has no chance in saving them unless you perform the trick incorrectly. When you shoot the ball the goalie has a fair chance of stopping it. Tricks are an unfair way of playing.

@JordanDupuis101 For any team to be considered good at all there should at least be two playmakers on the team, preferably boos. Having two speed characters is plenty to block any trick. You said that skillshots are fair way of playing. They go in 100% and are easier to prefrom than tricks. You find these defendable so there should be no reason you cant defend against tricks. Furthermore, tricks only enhance the overall metagame of msc and are completely balanced. Come to MSCSKY.COM ;)

@sakon14 Any team can be good, it just depends on how you use it. For example, I have a boo, hammer bro, shy guy and wario on my team and I win about 80% of the games I play. There's only one playmaker there ;)

Also, like I said before, tricks are glitches and not meant to be in the game. Skillshots are what nintendo intended to be used, as well as megastrikes. I know you're trying to defend your opinion and advertise MSCSKY.COM, but those tricks aren't meant to be in the game, end of story.

Next Level Games gave the chip button and let come what may. As for what came was something great that took this game to the next level. Never have I played a Wii game that has required more skill than msc, and tricks and trick defense are a large part of that skill. ---->

@sakon14 lol I doubt they intended chipping the ball into the net was intended. For example you can chip the ball over the goalie's head for a free goal, no ball charge required. The game is called mario strikers CHARGED, meaning charge the ball. But when a heavy character shoots the ball at a full white charge, the goalie still has a good chance of saving it. It makes no sense. It's their fault for putting the chip button in, but it was intended to be played the way I stated in my first comment

@JordanDupuis101 Yes but the diference between a trick like 'Serve it in" which you mentioned and a full charged power shot is not limited to the chance at which one will go in. A trick done perfectly will go in 100% of the time considering Kritter's position is constant. The shot you mentioned has a good chance of going in but its not absolute. What makes tricking balanced is that it takes skill and precision. It is also blockable. Shooting a full charged shot takes low skill and is unblockable

Once shot, nothing can stop it except kritter. The trade off is a goal that has a high success rate but is easily blocked and hard to do as opposed to something that is easy to pull off and ubloickable but has a chance of not going in. Not to mention that most tricks are more successful with a higher charge, some of course work regardless to charge such as the aforementioned serve it in. Something such as the boo glitch is complety unfair and gamebreaking in that it gets the best of both worlds

@sakon14 You have some good points, but the fact still remains about the balance of the team. The game was mean't to be be played with shooters, and they are quite slow. Many trick-users have the fastest characters so if you played a trick-user against a shooter the shooter would be outmatched in speed making it very hard to block the tricks. Also, these tricks aren't mentioned in the instruction booklet so most players wont know how to do them. I've also used tricks in the past but decided to

Nice video. And for those watching, for the Z button to be maxed out, you really only have to hold it down for about 3 seconds tops. (In the video he makes it seem like you have to hold it much longer, but you don't)

If you're playing someone on wifi, you really wouldn't have all that time to hold it down for 5 or 6 seconds like in the vid so it may help some of you who aren't aware of it.

ok first of all, the tricks such as the mid-field chip only work in easier difficulties, try that in the Striker Cup and it will never work. As for off-the-wall and serve it up, those are VERY difficult in harder game modes but still possible. Id love to see these kids attempt these in the striker cup or on a hard difficulty and see them fail. Hammy is now monty mole's nickname btw ...........
