I think they have a probationary period for new hires and if they feel you don't fit the norm there, then they will release your ass.

Also want to respond to some of the comments below. Google isn't monopolizing data or trying to take over the world, though their search is what makes the internet works. As a freelance web consultant, I admire what they've done with free tools to really allow small business to thrive on the web. Google search, Google Analytics and Adwords have allowed small mom and pops to thrive on the web. They can now compete with multimillion $ companies for traffic and customers.
