It still makes me feel nostalgic when I watch this trailer. I makes me recall the feelings of excitement I felt when I first watched it. Many people didn't like this trailer, but I sure as hell got goosbumps watching it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels nostalgic while watching this. I mean, I remember how people hated this teaser trailer for not revealing too much of the story. But, I've always kinda liked this teaser trailer. It makes the whole film seem kind of surreal. And, because Avatar succeeded so beautiful in placing audiences on this alien world, the initial trailer for this remarkable film should feel surreal.

Wouldn't it feel surreal if you were actually going to Pandora?

Of course, i love how James Cameron was influenced by Hayao Miyazaki's brilliant animated movies like Princess Mononoke and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind which are two must rent movies if you love Avatar like i do and of course those amazing Dune books by Frank Herbert and he succeeded at that.

@BloodyPooProductions That's one of the major reasons the movie did so well; no other action movies in December meant no competition. It also had a worldwide opening market, so that effect was amplified considerably (roughly two-thirds of the movie's earnings came from outside the United States).
