lol, shipping inferior, buggy devices under the guise of "open source". great marketing plan. this commercial company are going places! I bet their prices don't reflect its "open source" sprite tho.
bloody capitalist con-artists, exploiting the good name of Linux/GNU for their own gain. they'll have the entire Linux development community making their phone work, while they just sit on their asses raking in the profits.
As long as we get the synaptics packet manager like installer and smooth animations + drag drop function and memory stick i think this will rule the market :) Go open source
Open Moko's first challenge to get some market share would be to find someway to get viral attraction like the iPhone. I mean, the iPhone is already hip and hot. Damnit. :(
i cant get over this whole openmoko deal. i think the philosophy of opensource should be taken even farther past phones and computers. hell, open source tivo? tv? car? GPS [nvm, openTom]. and i just cant get over the GUI for openmoko. but as expected, its all way to beta for reliable uses.

and if he REALLY doesn't like the iPhone comparison, why have they made OpenMoko's design look so similar to the iPhone??
