  • vevo aint evil enough to censor aesop rock!

  • this is like the best song from aseop everr with the exception of the beat

  • OOH SHIT

  • what's a train buffer? and what's a jumper cable

  • @the212soul watch Style wars

  • @the212soul A train buffer gets rid of the graffiti on the trains. Jumper cables start cars that have dead batteries.

  • This is vevos account for the Orchard Music record producers. The rest of the videos on Orchard Music are censored. Ohhh and why the fuck are Mormons advertising on Youtube. if you're on Youtube religion is the last thing you're thinking about. You'd rather watch someone take a nut shot on a skateboard.

  • its vevo. its a fuckin miracle they didnt censor it

  • fuck train buffers

  • YES YES!

  • WOW THE THUG OST VIDEO UPLOADED BY AN ACTUAL YOUTUBE USER HAS MORE VIEWS THAN THE VEVO VERSION, HAHA VEVO GET IT IN YOUR HEAD WE DON'T LIKE YOU!!!!

  • HOLY SHIT THIS ISNT VEVO!!!!!!

  • @blankPage681 Can you explain the logo in the bottom right them?

  • @theflightoffancy

Can you explain the user name?

  • @blankPage681 I can, actually. You see, before vevo, the 'orchardmusic' account was created to upload videos from the orchard music record label, including this aesop rock video. When vevo came along later that year (vevo appeared in late 2009, this was uploaded in mid 2009) 'orchardmusic' was absorbed into it due to a distributing partnership with one of the major record labels that makes up vevo (EMI, Universal Music Group, and Sony Music Entertainment).

  • Team Teamwork remix is better.

  • @Giantcat1 I was thinking the same thing. This is great, but fuck TeamTeamwork does good shit. Same goes by Royal Flush from Vinyl Fantasy

  • theyve Aesop Rock dropping knowledge for-- H0W -- T0 -- RAP--

  • Aesop just made a killer instrumental for a new film called 'Dewana's Bridal', peep my channel to hear it.

    Up jumps the boogie.

  • I ended up watching Style Wars just 'cause of this video. (I liked Bomb It more 'cause it's more contemporary, but that's beside the point.)

  • damn all the people listening to radio rap are missing out, this is the real hip hop culture,graffiti,b-boys, and rapping for something other than money.to think peoples perceptions of hip hop music is just talking about the rims on your car and shit like that.

  • B-boys keep them windmills breezy.

  • Curators cater to killers of innovators

  • VIDEO SO GOOD

  • aesop= best

better is on tony hawks ug2

  • Ahh...my first ever taste of Aesop Rock.

  • SO DOPE.

  • Truthfully, I'm here because of the Ocarina of Rhyme mixtape...

  • @q0zi

Me too. I liked that version better to.

  • @praj101 Yeah, really I think this beat is pretty whack.

  • Have to be in the right state of mind to understand Aesop

  • Sorry bout the spammm, I'm 15 and I rap, check me out and I'll appreciate any feed back.

  • am i the only 1 who thinks this song's beat is trash? and that he isnt even on beat?

  • @coreyr0cks I agree the beat is trash, but he is on beat, just the offbeat, not the main beat. It's a variation of Black Thought's beat scheme, Black Thought creates a complementary beat scheme that flows well with the songs beat, this just sound congested.

  • I have to know. Is this video done on real film? Because man it looks so magnificent. Aes = Pure Genius. I LOVE the look of this video.

  • @madlarkin It's just a bunch o images from Style Wars and Wild Style movies!

  • tony hawks underground hahaha

  • Are Mormons seriously advertising on Youtube... If people can't tell religion is a business after it teams up with Vevo, then the world is hopeless.

  • @bakedorfriedman Dude your damn right I was forced to join the mormons and its kind of weird that they take attendance and stuff also they document whos in the church whos "inactive" who buys church clothing and many other crazy shit.

  • @chumbucket206 forced how? if it was a parent thing i would have said fuck you, you cant force me to change my religion

  • @doodledo2 Im not forcing you to change your religion im just telling you my experience it was forced If I have said no (im asian) I would have been beaten verbally abused its like being at the height of fame when you become so massive people dismiss your truth to their lies as a human being I dont like that all im saying is that as spiritually mormon have touched me its kind of suspicious that the church wants to reach people in massive audiences and the fact that they keep documents.

  • @chumbucket206 im not saying you were trying to change my religion im saying its fucked up you were forced to change yours

  • @doodledo2 Yeah it is.

  • @bakedorfriedman This isn't Vevo...

  • @DaBananaHammock the bottom left hand corner disagrees with you chief.

  • @DaBananaHammock *right. Doh. Fcuked that up didnt I....

  • fuck vevo

  • @maidenfan10210 Tony Hawk's Underground 2

  • fuck street gossip, hip hop isn't dead and neither is painting.aesop lives

  • should give you a thousand thumbs up. hip hop has never been dead. it's just been manipulated by salesmen who kill art. and displayed conveniently so stupid ideas can get spread.

  • Rappin' is my radio, graffiti is my T.V., B-Boys keep the windmills breezy.

    Much respect Aesop, thank you!

  • im never buying a toyota.

  • @ckaiser1971 why not?

  • Comment removed

  • Best song on Bazooka Tooth, without a doubt.

  • a few scenes from wild style 1982 I saw THE ZEPHYR

  • Comment removed

  • this is probably the pinnacle song of graff writing

  • ah so thats what the 70's in new york felt like

  • Graffiti is my T.V.

  • VAST!

  • we don't need no jumper cables. no , no jumper cables

  • @brendo432123 Nor any walkie talkies.

  • it looks dope @ 0:26

  • so lyrically talented, but his flow doesn't fit the beat at all. kinda ruins the song for me

  • "Never give a fuck how far Pi went"

  • so i was playing little big planet last night, and the narrator said something that went along the lines of "here we discover what curators cater to innovate" - i instantly thought, NO JUMPER CABLES!!!!!

  • Style wars....sick movie

  • Mainstream hip hop is all about sex alcohol and money which is bull shit, this is real hip hop

  • @theclockstickin better than your wack raps

  • @theclockstickin I cant flow, i heard your stuff clockistickin, your good, aesop rock is just a diff style, alot of people dont like it, then again alot of peple dont understand his stuff. is not gangster rap. and this isnt 1994 anymore.

  • @theclockstickin lol...I hope you are not camparing said "garbage" to the drone raps you come up with?

  • @theclockstickin yea and who do you listen to lil Wayne and T.pain lil Wayne is fagot midget that doesn't know nothing and T.pain yea hes special because hes voice is going trough puberty and hes already fully grown up.....well that's what "they" say

  • love the shoutout to Style Wars.

highly recommended if yall havent seen it.

  • aesop is so philosophical, I wonder if he would be any less philosophical if his alias wasn't aesop.

  • maybe he chose that alias because it fits his style of rapping? Or were u being sarcastic which is stupid cuz u cant do it typing, doesnt work...

  • I wasn't being sarcastic, I was honestly wondering if he raps philosophically because of the name aesop. Like would he make a different alias and rap differently?

  • @boogerdeeunit

He got the name Aesop from a movie he was in. It just stuck.

  • what movie?

  • Not sure, it's in his biography, check wiki.

  • Style Wars

  • @RaymondNS really, cause I thought he picked it up cause of the Greek writer Aesop who's fables are deep and kinda reflect A.R.'s style and lyrics. I always thought it was that, but correct me if i'm wrong

  • @FalconsPride48

You could be right, i'm just going with what i read from wiki!

  • @thgryda

he chose that name because he was in a play or some shit and his character name was aesop,so he just kinda stayed with it.....he added the rock after he had thee name aesop for a little while.

i'm just repeatin what i read.

  • lol or just something random like that ahahah, nice work

  • in my eyes def jux, rhymesayers and a couple other people and labels are the only ones staying true to the underground and i'll never stop listening to them

  • Look we have to be happy & glad that underground Hip-Hop exist because trust me if it wasn't for it, Hip-Hop would of been completely dead right now.

  • "Curators cater to killers of innovators"

  • Which record is this from ?

The Bazooka Tooth version sounds different.

  • They removed the intro in this one.

  • Oh, alright, thanks !

Do you know which record has this version on it ? I like this intro, as well as the Bazooka Tooth intro.

  • not a big aesop fan, mostly cuz his lyrics are just too abstract for me, but this shit is dope. beat is ill, and the video does a great job with the late-70s theme.

  • i like aesop as one of my favourites an all. but i think the beat on this track is fukin wak :s

  • rappin'is my radio, graffiti is my TV

  • is that a riff from Zelda...?

  • what part of the song and what Zelda song are you thinking of.. I wouldn't doubt it.. Blockhead is a genius.

  • aesop produced this.. im 99% sure...

  • i think mainstream hiphop is wack but hey thats why i dont listen it.. but who am i to judge what good music is ? like if your best friend likes lil wayne and thatn you say;; Omfg your wack you aint know nothing bout music you wanker. Like thats aight.

  • to this pointless "mainstream this and that" conversation ill just say that everything suits for whats it been meant to do or meant to be. same goes with aesop and lil wayne

they say his eyes were spiraling back when he hit the mat, woke, first words oh its like that

  • fuck lil wayne if you like him dont compare him to aesop or even bring that bitch into aesops posting page!
