What kinda sucks is how they do something, then they gotta come back and tell everyone what they just did, then later the trainers will come in and they'll have to tell them all over again. It's so fun listening to it all 3 times. And, oh, is it ever so dramatic.
I wonder which bracelet takes precedence if a contestant has both? Is there a rule about eligibility to wear both at the same time that AJ explained and I slept through? I'm finding this year's 'drama' wrt the bracelets rather tedious. Suspect they've been introduced because last year's contest was an anticlimax wrt prize money. It was rarely mentioned by the contestants, who really did appear to focus on the weight loss and fitness aspects of 'the game'.
At first I thought the whole "We went on the walk, and there was AJay, and there were two water vessels and Ajay said to reach into one of the vessels and so I reached into one of the vessels" super-longwinded story telling was Nathan liking to hear himself talk, but obviously they are told to take as long as humanly possible to tell these things.
The whole tidbits about Ajay, vessels and discs is just about useless after the first time.
i like how britains biggest loser doesn't have all this ridiculous walk drama, it's just about relationships and losing weight. it's less of a 'game'.
I kind of like them repeating that the game is changed forever because my memory is like a crack smoking squirrel and I can't remember what happened 7 seconds ago.....so I like them repeating that the game has changed FOREVER.
I'm tired of the false drama stirred up by the producers with the bracelets and The Walk, etc. I would much rather learn more about nutrition/exercise tips or see teams doing physical competitions.
yeah it would be great to see them actually impart some useful information to the viewer in a show like this. but i think the sponsor gyms don't want to teach these things to people, for fear that potential customers will feel they don't need the gym membership and the personal trainer.
Seems like there's an easy way to give the bracelet to someone else without causing hard feelings. Everyone could just draw straws, and whoever gets the short straw gets stuck with the bracelet. I guess that'd be boring but at least it wouldn't bring Ben & Sean any enemies.
nah, you don't want to chance babyblues getting it because if it gets into their hands its NEVER going back in play. They are not strong enough to keep it, so I'd give it to the weakest player...
lol I love how Andrea and her hubbie are the only ones smiling when they are talking about the walk!

Dear Biggest Loser:
I don't care about bracelets. I don't care about the walk. I don't care about stupid twists. Stop it.
Sincerely, sick and tired viewer.

If i hear the contestants echo the fact that the future of the game will be completely changed forever, I'm gonna break something.

I completely agree with you. I never liked the whole Walk thing and it only keeps getting more gimmicky

same, that's why the US version might be better, because they manly focus on losing weight, while the aus one focuses a lot on the game

It's interesting how the couples angle dilutes the weight loss difference due to gender since several couples are male-female.
