I did a strand test last week and a few days later i applied the Henna that i ordered online and i have reddish highlights all over and the parts that are colored turned my brown color a redish tone and i love it! I will be doing this from now on once a month to color my gray because i have gray hair popping up everywhere now. Is it ok to apply all over every time, or do i just apply to the new growth?
I want to start dyeing my hair with henna instead of using store bought henna, do i have to wait until the other color has grown out before using henna?
@notsoshy28 If you get pure Henna, it does not interact with chemical dyes, but either way do a test strand just in case, because if it ends up being not natural Henna that has added metals, it can make your hair green.
