got the same car 2 days ago as a project car with me and my dad untill im old enough to drive it im only 14 its got the same sound its really nasty =)
if it were me i'd go with with a 350 small block because for 1 they are a really poular motor so parts are easy to find and cheap. and 2 they run like bats outta hell on top end. but if your looking for a big block look into a 454 or 396
im currently setting up an exhaust for a 78 z28 i already got the flowtech headers
now its either of the 3
1) Cherrybomb (glasspacks, or extreme)
2) flowmaster (super 44, or delta flow)
3) homemade, its just baisically the stock mufflers just that im gona gut ,and make the chambers similar to the deltaflow ones only wth one triangle and a u-bend instead of 2triangles and a u-bend.

@onlypresto His motor is a standard chevy 350, his Camaro has no cams. Glad you liked the sound!

Sure bro no problem this car gets around 15mpgs and this also depends how you drive it, my brother usually cruises around. But this is not a Z28.
