Add WIFI and Web browsing then I would get it in a heartbeat. It is definitely the future of newspaper and book reading, but the price will have to come down over time like anything else. I have always loved Amazon's gutless pursuit of what it believes in.

It has WIFI and you can down load but it is a bit expensive.

It has NO WiFi, it has the Whispernet wireless cellular based system. Not traditional WIFI for use with Home or School based WIFI. Whispernet is a standalone network that has no monthly fees or anything and is available nealy anywhere.

The battery will last for a week. Also, it won't strain the eyes like a LCD screen.
