yeah statwise but in the end. Lebron has a Eastern Conference Championship as a accolade. 3rd on the MVP 07-08 season. He's just going to get better...Carmelo just placed in a tougher confernece that's all.

ok... this is comin from a true nuggets fan so bear with me. they are both great... but ide take melo over lebron. offensivly his game has advanced and grown in so many faucets its amazing. now lebron can dominate like few and the league and he is nasty, but melo just has those intangables that will continue to grow. also chauncey gunna rub off on melo. melo's nuggets gunna be sumthin to talk about for a while.

i think lebron james is nearly unstoppable when he gets into the zone but isnt a great shooter. Melo is a way better shooter and has a better post up and one on one game with amazing facial dunks. Most of lebrons dunk are in Fastbreaks 1-0 . i think melo is a little better but lebrons commercials are very funny

I think lebron is better at commanding/making plays and obviously a good defender and slasher, but carmelo is better at mid and long range shooting, powerful poster is just a pure scorer. You cant really say an NBA player is better then another, but you can say what they are better at.

Lebron passes and plays defense better than Melo other than that they are both matched up pretty evenly especially when it comes to offense. Also Mello is a better free throw shooter than LeBron.

Melo is way better than Lebron, yeah Lebron har better stats, but thats because he shoots more then carmelo, and play more minuter. if u look at the stats you se carmelo has better field goal stats, 3 point stats, free trow stats, better rebound.. the only thin lebron has higher % pr game is minutes and turnovers ;)

Melo has taken the Nugs to playoff two times.. and the reason to why Melo may not seem like a leader i beacouse of AI, I aint saying Nuggets would have done it better without iverson, But Melo would have more of a Poit - Forward role, and would have controlled the offense, much like LBJ and Wade does,, but neighter of them have a player like Allen Iverson on the team. And i blame the nuggest's bad resaults in the playoffs on their coach... George Karl, NBA's worst coach...

But what about overall production. Lebron is putting up monster stats, and every year he gets better and better. The only players in the league putting up numbers like him are Kobe, Paul, and Wade when not hurt.
If you ask other NBA players they usually say Kobe, Lebron, Wade, and/or Paul are the best players in the NBA.
Unlike the guys just mentioned Melo has NEVER took the Nugggets deep into the playoffs and has never been in the MVP conversation.

Melo has a better overall offensive game.
Lebron has a better assist % but Melo has improved and is getting better. Lebron might be stronger but I don't think he is quicker. They both can rebound. Melo has failed to get pass the 1st round but Lebron plays in the Eastern Confrence easily the weskest for years past. Melo always owns Lebron when they play and I think Melo is underaterd as a player and has been since the comparisions. Melo is still the man and owns LJ.
