  • IS THE CLEANER DOING ALL THE WORK OR YOUR GRUNTING//ARM GREASE...sounds like ur havin' wild sex on your glass top matey !! bloody hard work ha !! n yo misses just watches with a camera.. thats easy job for her !!

  • haha funny, 2:28 real easy to clean, as he is huffing and puffing

  • Anyone who came here, thought they had scratched the glasstop and ruined it for life. And were relieved when all that was needed, was some elbow grease to restore it.

  • Heck, I just use a warm wet rag and then let the top air dry. Adel, a glass top stove cooks just like a regular burner. It warms up a whole lot faster than a conventional burner. My Hotpoint burners do turn red when i increase the temperature and then turn dark again. Don't clean the top with water if the burners are still hot, the glass won't like it. i wouldn't use anything other than a wet rag unless you really needed it.

  • I am going to buy a new stove and was thinking of getting one of these. How does it cook? And will using baking soda scratch the surface?

  • Hardcore stove cleaning. This is INTENSE.

  • How did this get 17 000 views?

  • @loveandlockets It's 20,000 views today and still, how! I learned nothing except they can make a amazingly tough top and yet so hard to keep new...

  • Also don't be stupid and by all black stuck or silver stuff

  • Can you show me how to clean a window next with windex next

  • Thank you :)

  • Dave, Your burner should not lite up, fad away, and lite up again. It should stay lite red until you turn it off.

  • wow it came out so clean! I just got my frigidaire gallery and it's driving me mad with the cleaning, I guess I just need to use the right products. Our stove never came with any cleaning products..

  • Easy-Off is toxic and should not be used on the ceramic top

  • All that grunting and huffing and puffing is hilarious!

  • There is something call easyoff, you can get it from any home improvement stores, like Lowe's and home depot. All you need to do is just spray it and wait a minute, you see what happen, you will see something like engine oil coming off from your glass top stove, wiped off. No need all this hard work

  • I just moved in to a new place and it has a glass top stove. I have never used one before, so I am not sure if it is operating properly. When I turn it on, the element turns orange for about 10-15 seconds then turns off. After about 10 seconds, it turns on again and the pattern repeats. Is this typical, or does it need service? Thanks

  • This kind of stove works like that.

    Don't worry.

  • omg youre breathing so hard.....excercise more often hahahahaha

  • Keep cleaning buddy... that's only one element! I have exactly the same issue with our ceramic top and I use the same product. If somebody comes out with a better cleaning agent, they'll make millions. I haven't tried baking soda. As soon as I recover from the last cleaning and catch my breath, I'm going to try it.

  • I've had my glass top for about a year & found it so hard to clean with those cleaners---look how hard he had to scrub that's how I had to do also I had to rest my arms then start again---now I found regular baking soda works better than any of them just sprinkle it on & scrub the gunk of so easy then wipe dry

  • @natequmi Thanks for the baking soda tip! Love the look of the glass-top, but it can be a pain to keep clean.

  • you don't have to scrub so hard.

you can use a scraper tool, it doesn't scratch the surface, it's especially for glass top stoves. good for baked on messes.
