@seanster3134 that kept happening to me, but i found a way to overcome the glitch. change the language to spanish in your 360's system settings! it doesn't work for everyone, but is worth a try ;)

This is what I did: I started the game in co-op on and had the Master Chief stand on a Warthog right next to the building. Then, I took the Arbiter and jumped on the Chief's head and up onto the building. Easy as pie.

You can use a vehicle(Ghost/Warthog) to push a large crate to it, jump on the crate, and get up. Easy.Alternatively, Grenade Jump a warthog.

I think there's another vid similar to this, kill the soldiers in the ghosts, then put the truck in pretty much the same spot but get in a ghost that works, drive it on top so it's like 2 story'd then jump up that way, alot easier i couldn't ever get it to work using the bubble sheild.

if u cant get up there u might wanna hijack the wraith (not the blue one)and when u get on just punch the wraith until it explodes then when u get off u should have deploy cover drive the warthog and place the deploy cover and jump on it and ur done!

OR ALL U GUYS THAT NEED HELP: all you need to do is start from the beginning of the mission get to the part were you open the last door then dont get the warthog yet go left and kill the covenant then go on the roof of the lil building to your right with a roof and take the missle pod jump down shoot the ghost only!!! and then get the warthog drive it up there throw a bubble sheild then throw a frag nade at the warthog then jump towards the skull before it blows up.

TO GET THE SKULL

1. Check your achievements for he missions if youve done all of them on normal diffiiculty or higher

2. if you havnt done all of dem do the ones ou havnt done on normal or higher

The trick to get the skull is to do all the missions on normal or higher, i know this because i couldn't get catch i got frustrated and just took someones advice to do the missions i did the ones i havent done went back to the storm and it was there .

just do the missions itll be there trust me ;D

i used to have a problem it would never show up then my friend got it and he told me how and it works!!!! Go on the game on legendary only destroy the first wraith not the second!!!!! then go to the back of the place where skull is and pile up the ghosts and with a deployable cover jump on it and then on the thing where skull is then grab. Just so you guys know im not good at halo 3 so this took me 1 hour and 12 mins!!!! if this doesnt work than i dont know what will!!

@Haloreach12354 i tried the bomb jump and the same shown in this video tho i don't know how to get the third person view. so did what you said but i used a warthog and 2 ghosts. put one ghost next to the warthog and the 2nd ghost i used the boost to get on the other ghost and on to the warthog. the human npcs killed the first wraith and kept killing the second while i tried to get up. so i had to kill the ones on the other warthog so i had more time. lol

I just got the achievement on normal. I just threw a sticky greande below me while i stood on the truck. Just time your jump so that the explosion from the grenade pushes you up. : ] Enjoy your achievement!

I'm not sure of the exact rules, but today I did it having killed the AA wraith and all but one of the ghosts. I think the key is that you do no damage to the normal wraith.

Once the AA wraith is gone, a hornet swoops and starts firing on the standard wraith which usually gives you enough time to get a warthog parked underneath and you can clamber up! Remember, you can always use a grenade to boost your jump if you can't quite reach it.

what i did was lure them into the marines and the marines take care of them. after that the regular wraith is only concentrating on the marines. if you go down the lower part of the hill after that back to the skull, the AA wraith will have its back turned to you, therefore the brute on the turret cant kill you. then i stacked up the warthog and a ghost, jumped on top of that, got on the little roof and got the skull. its a pretty slow way of doing it, but its pretty easy.

i'll try it again:

you start in a warthog. then get out and you make a door open, then again, there is a room behind it with covenants. kill them all. then three grunts will get trough a door. kill them, then walk through that door. you're on an increase in the next way (with the ghosts at the end) and at the end of the increase are two dead bodies and a bubble shield :D

It takes pure luck to get up there. I've been jumping non stop for half an hour and still haven't got up there. This skull is worse than the sandbox skull.
