how many over exposed, under exposed and normal pictures does it take to get the best hdr result when you combine them?and at what exposure should i set each picture..if you or anyone could help me with this i would trully appreciate it.
when i create my hdr image, there's red , green and blue lines going down the screen... and then when i go into tone mapping, they're still there! i can't find anywhere why this is. please, if anyone can, help me!
@dublindave78 Check this out. I think its a problem with the initial version 3 release for Mac. If you update to the newest version, people have said that it fixes the problem. I got the newest version for my Windows PC and it doesn't have the green, blue, and red vertical lines.
the -2_ev is not for the shadows... it's for the highlight informations... and viceversa, the +2_ev is not made to capture the highlights but the shadows! :)
yawns stopped watching at 3 minutes if we didnt know what hdr was chances are we wouldnt be watching

I believe you mean "bracketed" shooting, not 3 shots.
