Davvero bellissima: bel suono, dinamiche, cantabilità e respiro!
I have the Andres D. Marvi guitar from Aniello Desiderio. Which He use to perform and record. If you are interested in this instrument pleas contact me
I love watching this guy you can see him battle with some part, let other parts ring through him the passion before the next parts its almost like a slow motion in regular speed. Even the lip thing i know what its like when your in full play. Nothing matters i almost feel like im playing mine just watching thank you sir ill be playing forever after watching you
@jocov89 sorry to be pedantic, but its not a song, its a composition or if you insist you could call it instrumental. But I agree a damn fine performance and a great peice one which I wish I could play... Good luck with learning it. : )
Aniello is a phenominal player, i seen him a few years back and i think he is one of the top guitar virtuosos on the planet, he has everything- great technique, excellent sense of musicality, rhythm, phrasing, everything and above all a ferocious passion for music.
I had never heard of this performer. I'm so glad that I stumbled onto him. I play, also, from a young age. But having switched to classical guitar in my teens, my right hand has always been a bit less than it could have been. I usually describe it as having an accent. I'm just amazed when I watch such talented performers. Truly inspired playing.
what a beautiful piece! i love playing classical guitar, i think ill learn this first one for sure, my fav to play is bach by far, i havent even played much else in a while lol
conchasumare q buena es la musica clasica, tantos compositores por ahi caletas q no manyaba es mas trabajado q el metal jaja xD un pokito mas trabajado xD
Yes it DOES have quite the ending....I have this cd, one of the very few recordings that actually have recorded this, too bad Goran didnt record his version, which I prefer. He REALLY puts life into this piece.
Gran musica y gran sonido Aniello! . Deberias grabar los conciertos para guitarra y orquesta de Mauro Giuliani !! Seria un gran regalo para el mundo.... All the best
I'm not going to disagree completely, but I think the ideas blend rather well together (mostly). It's also delightfully guitaristic, which makes us guitarists go nuts over it. I think of Giuliani's works as being comparable to Mozart's middle-of-the-road works(excluding his most genius works, of course, but still a compliment!). It's solid writing very much in the classical style- not somewhere to look for romantic depths of emotion, but arguably great nonetheless.
I don't criticise the music's lack of emotional depth but its lack of structure. I also don't dismiss Giuliani as a whole - his Sonata op.15 for instance is a fine work in the classical style, as some of his chambre music. Wish he had done more in that direction.
Fair enough. I personally don't like the opus 15 sonata, it's too formulaic and lacks some of the spontaneity of his other works. In terms of this particular piece though, I do agree with you now that I understand your position a bit better, there's not a huge amount of thematic unity here.
It is an excerpt from Mauro Giuliani's Rossiniana n.5, and very well played, too. Rossinianas are "pot pourris" (kind of 19th century medleys) of the favourite Rossini's opera arias tranposed magnificently on the guitar by the virtuoso M. Giuliani. Enjoy the guitar music my friends!
i love his fat fingers!

I love how classical guitar expresses the person themselves. so every player "sounds" different.

He must be ranked among the best guitarists ever. He does justice to the great Giuliani's interpretation of the splendid Rossini works

I am very pleased to see a guitarist who does not need to play "Asturias" or something of the kind to show his skill and mastery of the instrument.
Beautiful repertoire....
Thanks for sharing. :)
