I watched this film some years ago on TV and it moved me. One minute I was laughing, the next weeping. The kids are spontaneous and simply wonderful. Did you know there are 2.5 MILLION orphans in SA alone, my grandson was one, but the operative word is ALONE.

After the film finished on TV I went on line to Amazon and bought both the DVD and the CD and have never regretted buying either. All my friends have seen the DVD. Go out there and buy it - you are funding the kids education.

@cgarski These kids are singing in Zulu. Depending on the language spoken, in this case Zulu, we're family = singumndeni, or as they say in this song - singabomndeni.  A more accurate translation of 'thina simunye' is we are one. Hope that helps

No, I don't think you can say that all the money goes to the "kids" the kids have agents and lawyers, who get the standard pay, and so the kids, get what's left over.

Copying isn't a bad thing, if more people hear the music, and that enables the "kids" to get more money, even if it ain't all that much.

Rich people can buy it - that should be enough.

There are poor orphans in other countries too, who may be delighted to hear it for free.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!

I was in Vocal Performing Arts in my high school and I've heard MANY singers & choirs over the years... There's a HUGE difference between "just singing" - like MANY people do - and "singing with your ENTIRE HEART & SOUL" - like the Agape Children's Choir (& the Moya family) does!

These children are very talented. I saw a documentary on HBO about the Agape Children's Choir and it brought tears to my eyes. These kids have AMAZING voices and they should never stop singing. Great job guys!!!!

I had to do the same thing. My sis and I had to RUN downstairs to record it. It def made us cry. It was beautiful. The best things in life are free but I wish people here would understand that. Maybe if we believed that, our lives would last longer. We fight and struggle to obtain the things we think we want when what we need is right under our nose.
