this prevents Microsoft from adding bad blocks to your nand during updates. bad blocks make your xbox corrupt whatever memory unit you attach to it. this doesn't prevent/stop flags, bans, AP checks, or help you cheat, glitch, or run homebrew. so pretty much pointless, you can just dump your nand and repair it using a usb spi flasher or lpt cable....oh and some 30awg wire and flux would have made that so much easier.

#2 Why not use like a leg from a solder in diode because of it's size or the little metal leg of a resistor and insulate it with hot glue so it's not touching other pins.

@kaiba1977 well the pins kinds look small on cam, but he is also using to big of Gage wire to do this, it should work alot better with 30 awg kynar wire. i think it just what he had at the time :P

@sparky1570784 it prevent the nand chp from being written to. when ur drive gets crippled its a result of something being written to your nand so all you have to do it prevent anything from being able to be written to your nand

Also Ich habe nicht deinen GND genommen, sondern den direkten am Netzstecker... also den über dem 12er V... da meinten nen paar auch, dass das der beste Ground wär, da dieser hier plötzlich nit mehr ging.. hatte ich paar mal getestet.. und dann ging der GND nit. und der war auch nen bissel dumm, da der lüfter dann verrücktspinnt :D ... aber danke erstmal :D... werde ich mal testen :D Habe halt nur schiss, dass die leute mit dem Netz GND mist laberten und mein NAND nun schrott ist

@KOOLANCE720 that would be impossible... they use an encryption to send data if people knew how to crack the encryption A. they would change the type of encryption within a few days maybe hours and B. there would be no more 30ms ping limit for system link games

@KOOLANCE720 probably not as I don't think many 360 games wright to the nand except if you have a resent 360 with onboard memory for you to save on then yes it can if you don't allow anything to be written to it. Thats why there is a switch to enable/disable write protect. Mainly its so while you don't want anything written to the nand you leave it on like whenever you connect to XBL. So M$ can still ban your 360 from connecting to XBL but not cripple it. Hope this helps ;)

This isn't even server side on M$'s servers this is client side with people using glitches/hacks on a jtag 360 or that developers did not notice, not the servers, to hack. No data is taken from the servers only sent. How the 'hackers' manage to stay online for longer than 15 minutes with a jtag without being banned is beyond me as I don't own/play MW2 and don't really understand the process. Just that it involves editing .xexs(jtag only) and modding gamesaves client side.

So.. I have been banned from xbox live.. When i use my harddrive on the banned xbox and then put it on my new not-banned xbox the profiles gets corrupt.

@JakobKelevra you have to dump your nand and zero out the latest secdata.bin... just google secdata.bin and you should find a tutorial. if you haven't tried to sign in more than once after being banned they have software to make this process easy, if not you may need to read the tutorial a few times before you get the hex editing part. one thing the tutorials dont tell you is that you should have a wire soldered to the outside of the parallel port shell to the xbox metal chassis

@KOOLANCE720 @KOOLANCE720 no it doesn't do prevent hackers from getting anything off your hard drive because on XBL it is impossible to get access to another 360's HDD as all network information is encrypted on XBL so ftping into an xbox is close to impossible. It only prevents M$ from overwriting the secdata.bin on your NAND with a flagged secdata.bin which will cripple your hard drive and lock all your stuff on your hard drive to that banned 360.
