is there a braille book of the nasa Hubble Space Images? I really would like to find one. Not everything would lend itself to braille, but a lot will nonetheless.
I'm appreciate the posting of this video. It's very inspiring. My only problem with these type of video documentaries is that offten times God is not mentioned or given any credit for any of it. People have to learn to be thankful to Allah (God) for everything, and expecialy thier gifts of talent.
That's fine for you to personally be thankful for, but not everyone is religious nor do they want to be. No need to insist others follow your religion or that they "have" to be thankful to a deity. Would you want someone to force you into a different religion or no religion?
Noreen Grice and her ability to encourage the disabled as well as the non disabled child, to believe they can be whomever they chose to be is indeed something we need more of in our school curriculums and daily lives. The story of the blind student believing she will be an astrounaut is something I do not doubt and credit Noreen's excellent work for.
Noreen is a pioneer in the field of educating the underserved community about astronomy. I have all of her books and use them to teach my sighted students as well. The universal design that Noreen utilizes in her books makes astronomy accessible to everyone.
