  • i put E85 into my Fiat Tipo without modification. First i drove 300km with it but now it wont start :(

  • @DutyCycle555 Drain the E85 out of the car and try filling up again with regular gasoline.

  • If you just put E85 into the car without tuning, most likely the car won't even start. You need to have the car tuned specifically for the fuel.

  • hey very nice car bro i have a 98 corolla 1.8 can i just fill it up with only e85 will that b ok

  • oh how nice of you to open the door for your boyfriend

  • @sushiJohni fuk u fag it u wish u can have a evo likes hes and i not the guy in the video come 2 ny kick ur ass

  • @crazzzzy420 why do you sound so offended? you're not the guy in the video? oh i'm sorry, you must be the boyfriend camera man. "have a evo likes hes"? haha you sound like a fool man. i wouldn't mind getting an evo, but i currently don't need a second rally car. i think it is you that wishes you can have an evo like his" LOL

  • Don't forget that he had 91 octane gasoline in there. That would seriously dilute his mixture. The best way to circulate it, btw, is to put the car on ACC 5-6 times to let the fuel pump circulate the fuel. Revving the gas doesn't do much.

  • how do yo have your e85 system set up I want to be able to re reset my maps also do to the fact theres like 3 e85 stations in so cali..

not very much info that i can find

  • @zoneracer if you own an Evo and live in SoCal, talk to Road Race Engineering. If you own a Subaru, talk to one of the local subaru tuner shops.

  • That's a lot of gadgets in there. Did you know revving the engine up won't help mixing it up? The regulator will return the same amount of fuel on idle and free rev. Might even be less since you're decreasing the fuel pressure when you free rev. (unless you put boost in to it.

  • Do all cars work on E85? I noticed you have an Evo. I have an 09' Lancer DE. will it work on E85 too?

  • @TornTech working only on gas injector car.

  • @TornTech no it wont work

  • the guy walks like a fag.

  • guau!!!!! EVO!!!!!

  • where do i get one of those guages

  • @jayguy173 youtube won't let me post URL's. So, check out the website at the end of the video and/or check website in long description of the video

  • thats whats cool about turbo cars you can run ancohol based fuel or tune the fuel mapping to your likes

  • I get roughly half the mileage on ethanol that I do unleaded.

    Sucks

  • how many m.p.g do you get on ethanol

  • You can expect to get 20% less MPG

  • @SkiracerBlah WHO CARES I DON'T GIVE IF i GET HALF THAT Time to stick it to those Creeps who sat infront of Congress laughing at all of us the Citizens of USA ...remember?? Sir how much profit did you at Exxon make last year??? UHHH I don't know 20 million dollars WHATT!!!!!!

  • @SkiracerBlah its actually 30% :)

  • What E# is your map tuned for? Do you generally put in 12.4 gallons in? Otherwise, running stock fuel lines and rails with aftermarket injectors or?

  • I'm tuned for E85ish. I only put in 12.4 gallons of E85 since i had 1.6 gallons of 91 octane left in the tank. Got stock fuel lines, Walbro 255 pump, 1000cc injectors

  • Thanks for the info. We have 1 E85 station now (30 miles away), so I will use it as race gas -- already have Walbro in, DW850s injectors going in soon. Was just wondering if you tune by that gauge or not (I will have to use my A/F to do it).

Also, do you have a fluxfuel sensor for that gauge? I noticed the company that makes the guage has a sensor the Evo X, but nothing for my STI. Anyway, thanks for the video!

  • I'm optimally tuned for E85ish. So, if i'm ever below around E80 or E70, i just simply turn down the boost. The Open Source ECU guys are currently writing code to make the stock ECU be a true flex fuel car capable of running any % of Ethanol using the GM Flex Fuel Sensor and the Zeitronix gauge.

  • Aaah, ok, I see you running a MBC.... cool. So, you have a GM Flex Fuel Senor ... which model? Did it require any special install into your tank or is it drop in? I need to find out which one will work for me. Thanks again bro! Sexy EVO too! Get some!

  • I am using GM part# 12570260. Can be bought new from a GM parts dept. or a junkyard from a flexfuel vehicle. The sensor just connects inline with the return fuel lines.

  • I am guessing the 2 gallons was pure gas since it was 91 octane. If the Ambient temp was below 40 degrees that the usual time the industry changes to E-70. RUnning it, if anything will clean your injectors. Ethanol does not create varnish.... the gumminess you refer to. Safe to say your Engine will be cleaner after continued use, than with gasoline.

    hmmm

  • hey! From what i've seen, its been close to E85 all year long. Nothing close to E70. I haven't inspected my injectors, but my tune seems to be ok. So, i'm assuming nothing is clogged up.

  • Hey, I've seen you driving around a few times and didn't know you're running E85 too! I recently started running it in my GSX from ConservFuel.. Had a few questions. Did you ever figure out if the winter blend is E70 or E85? Also, have you seen any gum deposits on the injector tips? I haven't checked mine yet but some people report this problem, it seems more regional than anything. Maybe I'll run into you some day at that station!

  • I'm running 28psi of boost

  • How much boost can you run with e85
