I'm Canadian and my father went to the United States to get immediate quality care he couldn't receive for months on end in Canada. Government is very inefficient. And everyone here has to pay 50% in income taxes. Hence people are less motivated to work. We have no economic freedoms for the most part.

I don't have health insurance right now. But I sure as hell don't want any National Healthcare program here. Once that shows up on your paycheck, the deduction right under FICA , you'll understand why. If you think that deduction can't be a third of your check, you're wrong. The number to date is 1.2M Iraqis have died according to a new report from Information Cleaning House. The death toll of Afghanis is unknown but reports do say the najority of civilians killed are children. First, Obama didn't have the chance to vote for the war, and if he did, he probably would have just voted 'present.' Second, Hillary was the Senator for New York. She HAD to vote for the war. That leaves me with a little over 100k not alot of money given I have children in college. I drive 03 Ford Ranger. If I am hit with paying another 50-100k in
taxation to pay for Obama's schemes then I am literally going to have to fire someone on my payroll. that's just not fair to my crew

Sound like poor management to me pal, I have 4 employees though I gross in the upper 7 figures two of those 4 employees gross over 6 figures, and under Obama's tax I'd only be hit for an extra 100 to 150K so I think you need to fire your accountant. I drive a '08 Tundra and my wife drive a '07 TrailBlazer, I'd say the most I'd spend is on my two eldest daughters college (North Texas State and Stanford). So I'd say get a better tax attorney, cause you can do a lot better with your numbers.

I'm Canadian and my father went to the United States to get immediate quality care he couldn't receive for months on end in Canada. Government is very inefficient. And everyone here has to pay 50% in income taxes. Hence people are less motivated to work. We have no economic freedoms for the most part.

Once that shows up on your paycheck, the deduction right under FICA , you'll understand why. If you think that deduction can't be a third of your check, you're wrong. Socialism is not a belief, you don't believe in socialism, your subscribe to it.
Socialism is just a concept, an ideal. But medicare for all, whether its top grade or not should be a priority for ANY government.
Your telling me its more appropriate for a gov to protect its citizens using people with guns (aka police) but it's going to far by opening up hospitals and offering free services.

Whatever indications Clinton received of an impending attack on U.S. soil (and that's news to me that bin Laden personally sends letters to U.S. politicians), Clinton made an honest effort to catch bin Laden. Did the aforementioned letter didn't have such specifics as targets and sleeper cells listed.
Thursday is the seventh anniversary of 9/11. How's Dubya doin' smokin bin Laden out of his hole. Word is bin Laden's in Pakistan, which McCain will not invade because it's a "soveriegn nation"

Travel the world and learn on countries where health insurance is mandatory (Switzerland) or there is public health (all of Europe for instance). And you will see why is good... and is a fundamental right.
You are still free to be sick and do what you want but you have the right to be cured even if you are old and cannot afford it. Or you prefer to let people die if they cannot afford it? Is not Middle Age anymore.

Just because it works in Switzerland, doesn't mean it would work here. Switzerland doesn't have 300 Million people. It isn't the most obese country in the world. It doesn't have major urban areas of gang violence, crack and meth addiction. It doesn't have sanctuary cities spread throughout the country harboring millions of illegal immigrants and the border is not wide open so millions more can run in. Anyone is a fool to let the Gov. take 60% of your check and trust them to take care of you.

Europe is 350-400 millions people. With lots of (mostly good) immigrants and a lot of drug too and bad politics.
And public health is farrrr from perfect but way better than "who can afford it gets cured the rest who cares".
Obesity comes out of lack of means to get other things than fat food and watch tv.
So unless one is a millionaire, and can afford expensive treatments, all the others are manipulated into believing this is a freedom to defend.
Is either change that or more poverty.

I don't want to lose anymore liberties. Period! That's a direct assualt on our freedom of choice. obama may claim to lower income taxes, but watch what happens to all other taxes. Remember the gore tax, we're still paying it. Imagine what's going to happen to the cost of food, property and things you couldn't imagine taxed. obama can pay for it from his book deals. We already have clinics for those that can't work. And, I don't want to give any entitlements to those that wont work. Period!
