Could the geo-locator perhaps be a tool for authorities to place crimes of a voyeuristic nature?Or maybe even other crimes where people use cameras?Like many of the things posted on Youtube?In other words not really a feature to aid the user but to incriminate him or her.Just paranoid you say?This is not a pro quality camera.Why would a novice need this?Just a thought....

i like this camera so far im happy with it but they could have done better by upgrading the GPS chipset to a Sirf engine like whats used in Garmins Gps 60Csx now thats a powerful Reciever,also it would have been better if the option to water mark the images with the geo-tagged position, also a better battery would be nice,the Gps can drain it down quite fast when left on,count on less the 200 pics per charge, so buy a few,other than that i like the layout and menu and the picture quality mkay!

Dude, try doing your research. ISO 400 and above are USELESS - literally. Ethernet is also useless. GPS is slow are molasses.

You're the one who needs to do their research. Most ISOs over 400 are made for low light, which is VERY useful, although noise is a factor I hate at high ISO. The way you talk it's like you know nothing about cameras.

ISO400 and lower is made for day and high lighted areas, retard, learn more before you post, it saves yourself from looking like an ass.

And pengtv ask a good question : in hight iso setting that many pixels can't be enough sensitive, then they mixe 4 pixel to make one.
