@lookAsquirrelz Yeah I know, read the comment it was directed at, he said something bout it being n/a, I asked him where he got that front, clearly you can see cooler piping etc going tithe turbo
2 be brutality honest: i dont see this 240sx to be street ready. Look at your rear tire. is on the wires!.And wassup with the ending? lol I like the fact that is Right hand-driven though = )
if you can afford an rb25det go that. more overhead for power, more torque, cheaper parts and more parts to be found compared to rb20.
rb20 is a cheap alternative but can still produce good power just lacks torque below 4000rpm. but with a cam change, turbo kit and supporting mods, big hp can be made. but will cost you.
Mayb u should stick to a V8, cause you have small balls, guess thats y u brought a rb to get you man hood back, but then you havnt cause u dont know how to drive rb.
UR GAY. the RB series motors are basicly INDESTRUCTIBLE. they have bulletproof enternals and with a top mounted turbo and sum increased boost you got yourself a powerhouse.
Is it hard to put skyline engine into 200sx? Do I need to weld the engine clips in other place? Do I need more room for the engine? Answer please. I would like to get Skyline engine in my 200sx :)
Everything pretty much bolts up sweet as R32 and S13 bolts up pretty much the same. Im running a CA18DET Radiator and that just fits in, but front facing intake would create more room for a bigger one. Around the gearbox is only like 1cm gap tho.
Without many horsepowers it can flick it sideways? Does the Skyline engine have more torque and rpm? And which one, SX or Skyline is the stable one for tuning?
Around about Standard Power (158 kW (215 HP), But Im running POD, front mount and running on 4psi so less than standard boost. Jst tryin to make the engine last as long as it can until the goal engine goes in.
Mate! Gotta be New Zealand if it has an RB swap and a box off woodys on the floor! Good shit! NZLOVE!

But I don't really get it. Why to put RB20DET there? Why not RB26DETT? or RB25DET? RB20DET is like the same engine with CA18DET (original)??
ExtremeXer 2 years ago
yah well, exactly, rb20det goes well tho and can flick it sideways when it needs

there both tunable... and you dont need much hp for drift, just gota have some balls!
emtrixdk 2 years ago
Okay thanks :) That rb20det in sx sounds like american muscle in some videos :O
ExtremeXer 2 years ago
yeah rb20det has v.nice sound
emtrixdk 2 years ago
the rb20 has as much power as the sr20.. the only difference is that the rb20 has more torque.
i think its better to get a 25 or 26
ezbzeric1 2 years ago
RB20 is only the begining (was cost effective at the time), Everything is set up to put a 25, 26 or 30det in it.
But the 20det stil has alot of power, dropn down to 4th gear smokin up at 100km plus, cant complain.

RB26DETT comes with AWD transmission, but SX is RWD only...
Well, the CA18DET got a lot of problems, it`s life ends fast... So better swap little bit better engine, then still ride with the CA...
And the RB20 is fine! You don`t need skyline engine with 800000000000hp to start drifting... Even the stock can do it, of course , not so awesome...
