Katherine is incredible. To be such a fantastic figure skater and a world famous principal ballerina before she was an adult is just astonishing.

And she's gorgeous and incredibly intelligent to top it all off!!

Is this at the Vienna State Opera? I think Malakhov was at the Vienna State Opera Ballet until 1995 and then came to ABT....so this must be from the early 1990s??

i know its not really close up, but it almost feels cold. Like theyd had a fight before the perf. Anyone else get this feeling?

I don't think it's cold. It's hard to tell expression when it's been filmed this far back and the quality of the video is somewhat blurry and indistinct. But otherwise, this performance was perfection.
