I basically have all the stuff to do this. 4 VFDs (Customer Displays) LED balls, LED RGB Spike balls, Music Server (Laptop) and a LPT Relay board. All the stuff above was built by my wife and I but the laptop and VFDs. This can be done thru the LPT port of the cashregister (Computer) right? I also have an E-Stop button....

@hydrolisk1792 he used embedded technology... he programmed tons of micro-controllers to control everything in his dorm. Its more about the knowledge than the materials. You have to understand programming in C, circuitry/power supply, connecting the controllers over the internet, and more.
