I always thought this scene was both ironic and shocking because in just that instant it showed Bats in a new light for just a second. It showed that when times was rough he really didn't have a choice but to trust his teammates and reveal himself. Funny thing is, is that Flash was probably the only teammate who didn't know or 'suspect' Batman was Bruce Wayne, because they all had their various ways of finding that out.

Btw, my girl pride just got hurt by someone's saying Batman doesn't want Wonder Woman and he turned her down MANY TIMES. Umm, no. Wonder Woman turned Batman down in the comics too. In the episode "This Little Piggy", Batman didn't exactly turn her down. He just made it clear that he can't date ANYONE. But he gets jealous when she gives attention to other guys, he gets pissed when someone's rude to her and he worries about her!

I <3 this scene. You know, Batman can be quite the Batdouche at times (not hating on him, I love Bats) so IT WAS SO OBVIOUS THAT FLASH GOT INTIMIDATED WHEN BATS REVEALED HE IS *THE* BRUCE WAYNE. Wally is a "nobody". So he was like "Show off!" No wonder you don't mind revealing who you are. It was really nice of Diana to cheer him up. ^_^

For those of you who are wondering why the flash is Wally West keep in mind that every ten to fifteen years the dc universe recreates itself with a crysis event to modify the new characters. Since wally west was the flah in the comics duing the time this episode came out in 2003 they went with him. Even though chronologically it should be either Jay Garrick or Bart this series was meant to take place in a universe withall the current characters from 1992-2003. Hope that helps.

If they followed the comics, then that Jay Garrick would've been long retired and Barry Allen is dead by now, so Wally West steps up to take his uncle's place, making him the youngest member of this particular Justice League.

@craftslord If you recall, by this timeline Dick Grayson was Nightwing, which means he was out of college (In college during B:TAS) and an adult. Wally West being two years older, is still an adult, and considering he's the 'goofy' character, fits well with being the youngest charter member. Though Barry Allen rocks, Wally was a good call.

There's a battle and the Flash tells Fire to drop him. Later Hawgirl is alone with Fire saying, "You know he can't fly, right?" And, looking very sad, all Fire can say is, "He's a senior member of the team." Then Flash suddenly appears with a, "HEY LADIES! Check me out!" AWESOME SCENE!
