Tim Curry is without a doubt my favourite actor, and one of my biggest idols. I'm not just one of those people who claim to love someone after seeing them in only one thing. My love for him has grown throughout my life and I've seen him in at lest fifty roles. He is incredibly versatile and always manages to spread joy, even as a villain. I could go on about his voice, which is the most oddly erotic voice, but I don't have many characters remaining.

Ears are fine, thank you as have perfect pitch and studied music and dance (Royal Ballet of London & master classes w/ Edward Villella, NYC Ballet and Irina Vasiliev, Bolshoi). Singers endowed with naturally great voices and vocal ranges, i.e. Warwick & Judd, do not have to resort to strained hollering to convey passion in a song. This song requires a sensitive & nuanced treatment, not raspy screeching. Music is very subjective and everyone is entitled to their opinion.

See, this is what happens when you "study" music! It's there to feel it, not to study it! I know many musicians and i'm a singer too and do have my problems with the ones who study music, because they tend to overhear the heart in it! If you can't hear the pure PASSION in that voice, it makes me wonder just what they teach you at those schools??? But as i said, things like that just can't be teached, you hear it with the heart and soul!!!

I assure you, I did not get to the level of dance I did because I did not dance with passion and feeling (it takes more than "simply" technique). I just do not like his voice. What is with all the exclamation points? I believe you have some unhealthy obsession with this performer. Security!

Hmmmmm.....oh yes, very unhealthy! I get all hot and fevery when i hear his voice and i love every second of it!!!! Absolute pleasure! The sexiest voice ever, in my opinion!

But if his voice just isn't your cup of tea, i do understand that you don't like his way of singing. From an artistic point of view though, i don't think anyone could say he is a "horrendous" performer!

His voice or so smooth, yet husky and he sings with so much passion!

When he sings it sets shivers all the way down my spine and back up again.

Anywone who disagrees is like on there own against millions of Tim Curry fans.. Tim is awesome and has saved my life with his music and inspired me in so many ways.. as a sixteen yr old girl studying musical theatre. Tim is much loved all over the world.

My sisters friend gave her pics from his concert in 78! Professional onstage ones. He holds a rose in his teeth and is wearing the white shirt and black tie. She also has the towel and cup he used! Not sure if she still has them. I was 5 when Erica and her friends did Time Warp and went to midnight shows. Loved Tim ever since! You have the best videos! Can I stay for the night and maybe a bite?
