I'd like to welcome a video response of someone removing bermuda grass by their roots using your hands or any other tool? Move as quickly as you can.  Make sure the roots are completely removed. Talk is cheap!

bayergarden has a product there only cleans weed in lawn with out you have to remove it, and I use it every 2. year and have nice turf

you can bye a turf cleaner in sted, you spray on

@HD2512DK Unfortunately, there's no spray that can discriminate between one grass and another. They may be helpfull for dandelions, but then, you still have to remove them once they're dead. Remove a brown weed or a green weed, your choice!

I love unusual tools. And the verdict is: tool is long enough to use from a standing positions without bending or stooping over from your back. Not very aerobic but at least it does no harm. See the Get Fit Through Gardening Series on YouTube for proper gardening Stance and Technique.

As the video shows, the grass was very thin in this area, and actually bare in some spots. The owner of this property had planned to remove the lawn entirely in order to convert to native desert plants or xeriscaping. This is Tucson Arizona.
