Bad protocol. I can't believe this guy still has all his fingers. Maybe he thinks through every move but most wanna be bird house builders will endanger themselves using his methodology. Get that blade down!!!! In our shop we do no cross cut or angle cuts (bevels, yes) on the table saw.
Finger check! Where is the required safety devices. Pawl, guards, etc... and why is the blade so high. It only needs to be 1/8" above work piece. Just makes me cringe to see this ignorance. Very poor safety example. Why not just use a 12 inch chop saw and be done with it fast and safe?

Video was made in 2008, I almost guarantee he's lost at least a knuckle by now. Either that, or he buys the sawstop safety brakes by the case.
